350 Legend. It's just a cool round, plus ammo has been available all along.

Thank ya! You’ll have to get in line

Well crap, the video has been removed. Read does seem to be throwing his weight around, but at one point, there is some back and forth and Carruth is backing Read up (after he went in and got his gun). The Lubbock prosecutor recused herself because one of the local judges is Carruth's ex and the case has been turned over to the TX AG. That could maybe explain the delay in charges or announcing that Carruth was justified. Now I'm really curious how this one turns out.

I didn't see Read do any of this. The castle doctrine in Texas presumes that using force is reasonable and justified when another person: unlawfully and with force enters or attempts to enter your habitation, vehicle, or work-place; or attempts to remove you, by force, from your habitation, vehicle, or work-place; was committing or attempting to commit aggravated kidnapping, murder, sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, robbery, or aggravated robbery. In the context of self-defense, “habitation” means any structure or vehicle that is adapted for overnight living by a person. However, it only includes structures that are connected to the main habitation.

Exactly--go get the girlfriend, get everybody inside, and call the police. If the guy starts busting in, things change. Otherwise, I don't see how the guy walks if TX laws are similar to TN. I know several people who have had tense situations when someone is picking up the kids from the ex and a boyfriend/girlfriend/new spouse is involved. Gunfire has never been the result, though. ETA: For the record, I am not a divorced dad lol

Yeah mine doesn’t look quite like that.

AFTER the shooter fired at the other guy’s feet. Not sure why he grabbed the shooter and slung him away—distance gives the shooter a big advantage. Either get out of Dodge or fight like hell for control of the gun. I’m not sure what TX law is, but you can’t shoot someone for trespassing in TN. I don’t see how the shooter argues that he was in fear for his life, etc.

Or maybe more accurately, happy adoption day. Bought my 2006 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4WD 15 years ago today. It may throw a rod tomorrow, but four sets of tires and 32 oil changes later, it’s the best vehicle I’ve ever owned.

Not very shocked by the verdict.

You didn't like the verdict. We get it.

Nick Sandmann would disagree.

Glad you healed up and thank you for adopting your kids. America needs kids being raised up right and you changed the path they probably would have taken. When selling something to strangers, I usually meet at a local police precinct parking lot (even guns). It's not foolproof, but cuts down on shenanigans. Most people I'm dealing with say "that's a great idea." One fellow said he wouldn't meet there and that told me all I needed to know.

I guess I agree with Rittenhouse about BLM--I support their right to protest (even though they often refuse to acknowledge the realities surrounding the incidents they are protesting), but they lose me when they block streets, burn/destroy/loot, advocate for killing police, and promote Marxism.

Anything is possible, but I don't see him becoming another Zimmerman. Their cases and situations are vastly different. Zimmerman's was a lot murkier and there wasn't quite the obvious slant and slander by MSM (although he was the first "white Hispanic" I have ever heard of). Hopefully, Rittenhouse has some good guidance in the near future. I don't see a problem with him going on a couple radio shows and sitting down with Hannity on TV for a few minutes. I do hope he sues the dogsh*t out of MSM for two reasons--I hope he becomes independently wealthy, but more importantly, the leftist MSM's ability and eagerness to push misinformation and blatant lies to sway the national mood or opinion needs a serious bitchslapping. Rittenhouse is in a position to do just that.

I’m just glad the woke cultists didn’t get their lynching.

Get well soon!

You can roll those dice.

I've sent two EMPs back to Springfield to get the chambers opened up (not sure why they insist on stupid-tight chambers on these guns). Both times the guns were back in my hands in less than two weeks and were fixed. If I ever get the bobtail version of the EMP, I will probably be calling Springfield for a label. The shipping was via FedEx Express, which is the original mostly-flies-on-a-plane 1 day and 2 day delivery service formerly known as Federal Express. Fed later bought RPS (Roadway Package System) and painted FedEx Ground on the side of the truck. FedEx Ground is basically run as a separate company. Fed then bought American Freightways and painted FedEx Freight on the trucks and it is a separately run freight and LTL carrier. All the different flavors of FedEx add to the confusion when someone says "it is coming FedEx."

True but you may be able to drive your gas burner to a gas station five miles away where the power didn’t go out. I guess the EV owner could drive to a buddy who didn’t lose power and bum an outlet or fire up the old fossil fuel burning generator and charge up the Tesla. But then he wouldn’t be saving the planet any more.

I suspect that, like gas powered vehicles, the mileage rating is a bit optimistic. Also, how do you charge it if a storm knocks out the power for a few days?
