If you decide to run a pistol with a red dot, you can use the red dot to help with the racking. Instead of gripping the slide with your left hand to pull it back, just put your hand on top of the slide, in front of the red dot such that it would hit the area between your thumb and pointer finger. Then push the red dot into that part of your hand to force the slide back.

We may get the lights on the house and outside trees up before Thanksgiving, as time and weather allows. But I will not likely turn them on until after Thanksgiving.

I was looking at a Marlin on GB, but it kept going up. The Rossi also came with 225 rounds of 44mag. I am sure this won’t be the last lever action I buy.

I hope I didn’t just mess up. I picked up my second lever action. Rossi 1892, stainless steel, 20” barrel, 44mag. Thanks Badshot57! I only think I might have messed up in that owning one lever action was Ok. But owning two lever actions seems like too few. I would post photos, but apparently I have exceeded my attachment limit of 2MB (by about 28MB).
