Anyone know of an area parts dealer for used 870 parts? While working on a 12 GA for-end tube assembly a couple of idiots put a crease in it,me being one of them. It is not repairable and now need used tube. I know Police Armorers have boxes of them but are not able to sell to public,and I never get out to Knoxville Shows ,where the large parts dealers go. Remington says law tubes are same for 12 except Super Magnum. Mine is 3" and pre 1985 without flex tap cut or can use newer model with a newer slide assembly block. Tried RK &Goodman Shows and parts dealers no longer go. Thanks For Reading Will

I picked up a good assortment of Stingers,buckets&Mini Mags six months ago at WM and Academy when everyone said it was hard to find. I have not seen any since.

Stopped in the new Wilson CO Complex today,very nice,good food,show sucked. one of the vendors told me all 2017 shows there and in Boro are up against each other. Stupid on both of them.

Unless your in the market for a worn out Remington 700 in 30-06 at forty dollars more than a new one,stay home.

Walking around a Nashville Fairgrounds Show about twelve years ago had a guy walk by with a GI 1911,can spot them at 100 paces. I asked him what he was selling and handed me a correct 1944 Ithaca and said he was wanting to trade even for a Kel-Tec 9mm about $250 then. I had one at home and I said how about we walk over to a dealers table and I give you the cash for one out the door? He said no I just want to trade it for one right now??? I scrambled trying to find a used one quick but seen him walk past me about five minutes later with a Kel-Tec.

Yes thanks for the vid,I had an ex brother in law that used this method when I was a kid and never seen him again to show me this method. It sure would have saved a lot of trouble with two of us cutting the middle of the back an having a pulling contest not to mention the no hair sticks on yje meat. life is much easier with Utube.

All fun but as a lifelong Tree Rat Hunter this target would not do. I grew up hunting them a couple times a week with buddies older than me and they had a rule,head shots only because it sucks to skin them otherwise and ruins a lot of meat. I once shot on in the head and it exited into the shoulder. buddy blew a fuse when we went up to the well where we cleaned them. He said if you can't do better than that don't ask me to help skin them. The limit was six and most were taken under 25 yards. We found certain parts of the woods had the large red Fox versions and they would keep the smaller Grey's out of their area. My Dad who took me as a little kid but had not been out in the woods in fifteen years seen six of them soaking in in saltwater in my fridge and said wow all head shots,lets go in the morning.

The first year of the State CCW Permit you were also required to be bonded ,and that ran a hundred dollars extra. A lot of people had the Sheriff Permits at no cost but it was usually political terms to get and keep one as in working on their election campaign when needed or who you knew and they were honored in most other States as well.

Like any small show hit or miss. Two small buildings ,guns priced over retail. Have seen something nice brought in at times. The best thing about it is the Pawn Shop near the entrance with good guns/good prices if it is still there.

Good storage is a must,but there is a huge difference between ammo for a rifle and a semi auto pistol. Rifle ammo usually is can be weak and function fine in bolt guns and still have plenty of power to cycle semi autos. Pistol ammo for semi autos is much more touchy and is best to use newer ammo. At the range cheap and old ammo may be fine,but for carry ammo it is best to have near new. The Police change duty ammo every six months to a year for this reason.

TWRA do DNA tests like some States?

I hear this quite often with aluminum cased ammo and you never see it at Glock GSSF Match,always Brass case. I have never shot it for this reason. Your Brass does not jam tells you everything. Never had a Glock jam after thousands and thousands rounds and a G22 range gun that was never cleaned for four years. I had a Beretta 92FS that was good for about 800 rounds and then would quit until cleaned.

As in past it will happen overnight. If Don wins no change but prices may not go much lower as they are there. At some point if HRC look like she is going to win or wins there will be a big rush on Guns,parts& ammo and in a few days everything will be wiped out. You seen it happen with Clinton Obama and even W Bush. From what i seen it is the mass of first time buyers in a panic and this one may be longer lasting. If can stock up on what you may need very soon. Look what happened with the gas shortage last month in Mid TN people ran out and filled all their vehicles when they did not need to and created their own shortage. Human nature can be strange.

Real spotty. Stopped in late afternoon. Pretty much a big flea market. Couple dealers with prices higher than most area gun shops. Fairgrounds require background on all firearms sold at private tables,so very few private sellers at these shows. Not State/Federal law,fairgrounds law. These are just about to end this year. Looks like RK Boro Show only one left.

No-Go stopped there today ,lot empty nobody around but website shows it still on? It pays to call all shows first,glad I was in area anyway.

So. Williamson Co About 150 birds hanging around at 8 AM this morning. From Noon opener till 4 only about twenty birds went blasting through .

If you are serious get the trap loads the are chilled shot and made for trap/ skeet or have someone load some for you. The game loads work OK most of the time but when they get little out there the chilled shot will not flatten and bounce off without breaking. An example is we were shooting in a quarry and had a large pile of sand as a backstop. We had a couple buddies shooting 12&20 with target/dove loads and they were dusting the bird at 30-40 yards but not breaking them. Most of them landed without breaking in the sand pile and we noticed they were taking 2-5 hits without breaking.

I have been a registered voter ever since I made the mistake and voted for Jimmy Carter. I have never been called for Jury Duty in my life,not complaining as it would have caused major problems for my employers as I was always in key positions. I have lived in Nashville and the adjoining counties most of my adult life. Lived most Homes over ten years.no criminal record so I gotta wonder why. Have worked with people that were called every two or three tears,and some who were Tn Residents only one year. Had a buddy who was Independent Contractor who worked out of town and would have left him with serious money problems as it would have with many people,but he went to person in charge in Williamson County and they worked with him on a schedule. Trekbike-All I have is the standard round cutouts on each side of the house. I will ask about getting turbine vents. The neighbors were all told shingles were cheap contractor grade but should have got 15 years from them,but nobody did. Thank You

Yes only 12 years,must have been low bid,most neighbors only got 10 years. All homes are 12 years old.
