I had bought the Savage 93heavy barrel in .22 mag and almost immediately installed a Boyds Thumb Hole Varmint-made a 100% difference- Like already stated they do shoot good for the price-I paid a little over $200.00 for the rifle and around $150.00 for the stock- I would go for the green machine if it were my choice-

Hope they got enough milk and bread-couple of day's is pretty long ya know

It's considered bad manners making a lower offer in the open-try PM-ing -
ANyone use Hard-cast lead ammo for .38 and semi-autos?
krunchnik replied to crc4's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Hard cast is deeper penetrating than a hollow point - Not generally accepted for a self defense round due to over penetration and pass thru- I use hard cast for most of my target and range loads due to cost factor-I reload most everything I shoot-other than defensive rounds which I keep with good factory loads- -
The EGW short triggers I installed only needed to file a little on the top and bottom of the trigger- EGW has a permanent over travel bump where there is no adjustment needed- And they work pretty good at that-
-
I have used EGW for short triggers- They have what they call tractor tread with a very slight curve- I have them on both of my Kimbers in 9mm-

I am a member of MSSA and can attest to the fact that there is no other rifle range in the Memphis area- Range USA allows rifle rounds at their facility, but it is only 25 yards- I struggled with the cost of starting at MSSA but I also like to shoot my AR's at 100 yards occasionally-

Wilson Combat shok-buffs for 1911 and Beretta 92
krunchnik replied to tercel89's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
Every 1911 I have had never ran shok buffs- I have actually had a Kimber with the buff disintegrate and lock the pistol up- I have a STI Trojan that had the buff installed from the factory-I had multiple feed and extraction problems-removed the buff and also the problems- But I could never figure out why they think they needed it in a 9mm 4.25 inch barrel 1911- -
I have a Vaquero Birdshead in .45ACP and 2 New Model Blachawks and can attest to using the same holster for all 3- And the Birdshead has a 3.5 inch barrel and Blachawks both in the 4 5/8 inch

I have a Holosun 507K on one P365X and a Holsun 407K on the P365XL- Both these models are shake awake with the differences between the 2 - 407K has a 6 MOA dot and the 507K has a 2 MOA dot or you can change from 3 different visuals- Dot inside a circle-dot without a circle -or only circle- I prefer just the dots myself-

Gonna have to look into this

Great Price-Great Gun-

I have a couple, but they have to last me thru the weekend!

Same-CFE223- Works great for all loads from 55gr-69gr My PSA upper likes the heavier loads and that is a .223 WYLDE chamber in 1/7- My S&W 1/8 poly rifled prefers the lighter 55gr loads- I have so far tried 5 different loads from .55gr thru .69gr and found that it's pretty much trial and error with accuracy-

I have a RIA 1911 in 10mm and a S&W610 revolver also in 10mm- Not because I need them but because I wanted them- I found that downloading a 10mm to mild is a lot of fun to shoot- My low power target load will not cycle the 1911-revolver round only-

Looks like a Dan Wesson model 15- Original came with a pistol pack option where several other barrels were included- Very nice shooting- I had one in .357 mag and my Dad had it in .41 mag-
-
Right-primarily the grip module has changed and it's magazines also-
-
That is a real nice feature-optics ready is my favorite- Comped is pretty nice also- PSA has it on sale now for $799.00- If you're looking for one-
-
It's quite a bit larger than the XL
-
I received Sigs E-Mail also on this new model- I have both the P365X and the XL and fitted both with the Wilson Combat grip module- I feel that if a person needs 15-17 rounds there are already a huge selection of pistols to choose from- What attracted me to the Sigs I now have is the ability to have a RDS on both that is attached without having to use a plate- They are both very concealable and shoot quite well-just what Sig designed them for- I think the Macro Model is stretching into the mid to full size-no thanks I will stay with the X and XL-
