Oh yea, the bears nicknamed "Pablo Escobear" lol
-
Here's a link where a local news channel in Knoxville wrote about it. Apparently it was south Knoxville where the cocaine landed and the dead trafficker was found. Also noted that Waylon Jennings bought the stuffed bear at first but didn't know that it was the cocaine bear supposedly. The bear also ended up in a pawn shop lol before the mall owner bought it. https://www.wbir.com/article/entertainment/upcoming-cocaine-bear-movie-based-on-knoxville-true-crime-tale/51-09412f88-5cc5-4ee4-afcd-c769a469fe7d

Who here has already begun decorating for Christmas? (2022 Edition)

We haven't yet, but have noticed quite a few people have been doing it earlier around here lately.......I saw some people take down their Halloween inflatables and replacing them with the Christmas ones the day after Halloween. Holiday cheer is always a good thing though and if it makes you all feel good more power to ya. Happy Holidays! -
Hey Moped, have you been to the new Smoky Mountain Guns and Knives on Asheville Hwy in East Knox? They did have 9mm brass for $15 a box of 50. I don't know if they still do or not, it was when it was newly opened. I think the rest of the ammo was about the same as other places, i was just there to grab the cheap 9mm and didn't have alot of time.

I knew this guy years ago that had an Akita. I believe they can be mean dogs not too familiar with them. He was walking in his back yard with him one day and slipped in a hole in the yard and feel onto the back of the dog and the dog attacked him really bad. I agree with deerslayer above in the fact that i have never had the desire to own any of the "badass" breads of dogs........especially with kids in the house. But for sure prayers for the families, it'd hard to imagine what they have to be going thru.

Total mistake on my part i meant the Ridgeline......thanks for pointing that out. I did have a buddy with a 93 Passport in high school though and it was a good vehicle. Actually i am wrong again, it was an Isuzu Rodeo, but i believe that was mostly a rebadged Passport.

Sorry i meant to quote you in the previous message.

Hey Ed, i hope you are doing well. Have you seen the prices in Sevierville today? i had to stop there on the way home last night.......went all the way to Murphy by Volunteer Chevy hoping one of them hasn't jumped up......it was $3.25 but most all of them were $3.39. I wish i would have filled up Wednesday lol
-
Very Nice! I like that alot. I was thinking car not truck and was trying to picture it. I love the look of it wheels and all......will it smoke the tires? (joking lol)
-
That sounds like a really good price for anything new and a great fit for you Eray. Not bad looking either and i have seen a few out on the roads, seems like a wise buy for the consumer. I was reading above about some of the things you can do with your phone, that's pretty neat. I have a friend with an older honda passport seems like a similar vehicle, i always liked his.....kind of an SUV but still has a bed to do truck stuff with.

I hate that is happening to you right now. It's just a really bad timing. I hope that the right thing comes along for you i really do. That Studebaker sounds awesome. 700hp......Awesome......what year is it and do you happen to have a picture?

Me toooooo.......... I have a chevy truck with 300k on it and its been awesome too........I do have an admitted car addiction so i have self banned myself from marketplace for a while.......I get them, and get attached to them and then don't ever want to get rid of them.......but i tell you what this gasoline with ethanol additive has eaten up 4 fuel pumps in cars i let sit for a little while......letting em sit even for shorter time periods, isn't like it used to be.
-
I agree, i have bought so many vehicles off craigslist or now marketplace. If you can find one owner vehicles and you meet the people and can tell what kind of care they took of it. I have had such great luck but i also drive older vehicles and not into any of the newer stuff, not just because i can't afford them lol. Ten years ago, i bought a honda civic that got 40 plus mpg for $2200 with 200K miles and now its at 385K and i sware i have done basically nothing to it and i was using it for a courier job where i drove it 250+ miles a day, every single day. I haven't driven it much in the last year, but i would drive it anywhere. Plus it's a classic now and getting fairly valuable.
