  1. Tisas are okay, my buddy bought one last year, I would go with a Rock Island over a Tisas for the price. My Rock Island has yet to jam, whereas my buddy's Tisas likes to jam after 100 rds down the pipe. Fitment of slide to lower on the Tisas is also a little loose for my taste, causes the slide to jerk left or right during firing which makes recoil go all over the place.
  2. They have them posted outside every entrance under mall rules, and inside the entrances. I use to work at Opry, they put signs up everywhere during Covid.
  3. Southern middle TN. I get around quite a bit tho in middle TN, mainly Columbia and Franklin.
  4. Yeah, he's right, even Thompson/Center Arms says they never made a contender barrel in 30-06.
  5. Interested to see what @Worriedmanhas to say on this matter.
  6. I also have an IWB holster to go along with this
  7. Will have them tonight, was having issues with file size.
  8. @GS455 yes, Echo 3, corrected my original comment as well.
  9. Gunsmiths in general are hard to find around here these days, and when you do find them, they're super busy. I'm not sure what all the guys at Echo 3 Armory in Chapel Hill can do, but my uncle has been happy with them, fair warning, like I said when you do find one, they're booked, Echo 1 has been working on a project for one of my cooks for a while now.
  10. Update: found all the parts I needed, got it put together and tested it out yesterday, shoots like a dream.
  11. Still looking? I have a spare one. Shoot me a message.
  12. Yeah this has been my problem with most suppliers of parts it seems.
  13. Anyone know where to find replacement parts for old contenders? I just inherited one in .357 mag, missing hammer spring, sear pin, cone spring, and lord knows what else. I've tried doing some digging but am having no luck so far. S/N: 63xxx
  14. Is your hammer back, safety down, and are you pressing on the beaver tail safety when trying to remove slide?
