  1. I don’t want to admit it, but yeah! You aren’t far off.
  2. So the guys on the Harley forum don’t think this bag setup is safe. They say too much weight too high and behind the rear axle. What say you guys?
  3. This is one of those weeks I’m glad I stayed in the stock market.
  4. That sounds fair if you’re happy with what they provide. What other fees are there? Yearly? Buy/sell? Percentage of gain? I fired my last advisor after about the third time she failed to do what I asked her to do. You’d think she’d be telling me what to do. Anyway, I moved everything to Fidelity and do it myself. It gets done like I want it. Very fair and low fees. I’ve made a ton more money since I told her to go pound sand. It takes a bit of effort, reading, and self confidence on your part, but no one gives a damn about your future like you do!!! I also do my own taxes. LOL!
  5. Standard operating procedure.
  6. Everyone in our primary was unopposed, but it was also the county general election. There’s where you REALLY need to vote.
  7. I’ll give that a try. Thanks.
  8. That would be nice.
  9. Helluva doctor!
  10. It is the preferred term for Trump used regularly on democraticunderground. They tend to get traumatized easily by certain words over there.
  11. Zucchini: Slice 1 zucchini thin, lengthwise. Mix 2 tsps Italian seasoning, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper and 2Tbsps olive oil. Toss zucchini in mixture, place in single layer on baking sheet, and bake in oven at 425 for 7-8 min. Flip and bake another 7-8 min. I’m not a zucchini fan, but this is easy and pretty darned good.
  12. What an amazing trip! I’m jealous. Thanks for sharing.
  13. Or hack it and put in a DR Seuss book.
  14. I picture a hacker causing a 50 mile long pileup on I65 during rush hour traffic.
  15. I found my kid a nice 07 GMC truck here on this forum for a very fair price. 40k miles, and just like new! He likes the truck, but hates the manual windows. LOL! I was married for years before I ever had a vehicle with power windows. I’ve replaced several power windows motor assemblies. I’ve never had a problem with hand cranks that grease wouldn’t fix.
  16. We put up 21 quarts of corn and a dozen ears on the cob today. Coons didn’t get all of it, but they sure tried!
  17. 100 grainSierra Game King backed by IMR 3031. I’ll let you work up the charge weight. An 87 grain load makes this versatile chambering a capable varmint cartridge as well.
  18. Ever raise a teenage boy?
  19. A national treasure fer sure!
  20. I’ve got a pair of 4” pinned and recessed 19’s, but they don’t look as good as yours.
  21. We’re back down to the prices the OP was complaining about, but now we’re happy about it. Perspective is a funny thing.
  22. I see a future where nobody but us hillbillies out in the sticks owns a car. I picture an Uber like service that utilizes self driving automobiles. They come pick you up and drop you off for a fee, and go charge themselves when the battery gets low. I’d like to invest in the front end of this technology. . Gov can track, tax, and control where you go. It’ll be awesome!
  23. Sure, but it would be a lot easier to bring them a can of gas than a can of electricity.
  24. I picture an evacuation route coming out of New Orleans clogged with dead electric cars as a cat 5 hurricane closes it. Not a time a fella wants to hunt a charging station!
  25. To be clear, I am not at all against electric vehicles. I AM against government mandated electric vehicles. Let the public decide what it wants. So far, a big hogging v8 engine works for me. That may well change in the future.
