I happend to be walking by (not expecting anything to be out) and the guy was stocking the shelves. I asked if he had any 22lr and he replied that he did but had not got to it yet. I ended up buying 3 boxes of 100.

i'm sure it will happen before you know it and when it does...cherish the moment. A few years before my dad passed on, he told me that one of his fondest memories was when my kids were little, I took my son and daughter to visit and we all went to the range to kill some paper. We had a lot of fun that day and after twenty years, my son calls that moment one of his fondest too.

Took my grandson and his friend to the range two weeks ago to shoot the Henry 22. His friend had never fired a weapon before and after a few practice shots, he did quite an impressive group at 20 yards. He wants one now and I'm glad I was able to help open his eyes to a new world.

Sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. I lost my dad last year and was very greatful that my brother & I was able to sit down with him for a weekend and watch some old John Wayne movies before he died. (He loved John Wayne.)
