I’m glad to see that they created a locking tail cap. I have a Warrior X and the magnetic only attachment of the tape switch made it wholly unsuited to weapon mounting.

Turns out it’s 55-9-402 and it’s a class C misdemeanor. So, $50 fine. I’m not saying I would engage in any such activity, but if I knew anybody that would (only on nearly deserted, very rural roads) it would be a decent idea to know the possible consequences. But yeah, I totally just dropped a massive chunk of change on a NVG setup.

Can’t seem to find the first one in the TCA so that is probably a good thing for a large chunk of the population. I have driven through every major city in the state ya know. There would be a lot of people in a whole lot of trouble if it really was an offense. The second isn’t a moving violation so who cares.

Yes. Seriously. I love the Mall of America. They even have truck parking. It’s located in a suburb and one that I would expect to be less understanding of shenanigans considering the high number of tourist dollars. That said, if it’s wild like the city, I’d be best to avoid it. Nah mean? So yeah, it was a serious question. Why wouldn’t it be?

Tom, got a question for you. I’m coming through that area this weekend. Was thinking about making stop at the Mall of America as per my custom. Is Bloomington keeping a lid on things like I expect they would?

It’s clearly visible in his lap. Bottle of Dasani.

This makes me even happier about my score at the bass Pro in Springfield. 2@ $349 a case for federal .223.

If anybody does, it would be them.

I use a clinch pick for that role. Affixed to a front belt loop, it’s well located and can be utilized quite well even if an assailant has control of the wrist holding the blade. https://shivworkspg.com/product/shivworks-clinch-pick/

That’s a DOT violation.

I’ve got an LCP. Haven’t carried it in years though. I should break it out again. I would imagine that @mousegunner would say you had a mighty fine collection.

QUESTION ABOUT OFFERING SERVICES TO FORUM MEMBERS
Chucktshoes replied to aknifemaker's topic in Feedback and Support
This is a question I’m leaving to those above my pay grade. -
Image hosting takes up a lot of space and adds up fast. Server space gets very expensive, very quickly. For that reason the amount of space allotted to each member must be limited. The solution is third party hosting sites. @DaveTN put together a wonderful how to explaining how to use what I think is the easiest of these sites, Imgur. Do this and you’ll never run out of space again. https://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/105981-how-to-post-a-picture-with-imgur/

Yup. The rimfire bullseye competitions. Plus, it’s just a fun and accurate gun to plink with.

NRA Annual meeting back on.....................................
Chucktshoes replied to a topic in Events and Gatherings
Well, I am tentatively planning on being there. My company is headquartered in SpriMo and its very easy for me to get through there. I came to the conclusion a while back that as much as I hate the facts of the matter, we need the NRA. We also need to fix the NRA and the only way to do that is to be an active voting member. So today I put my money where my mouth is and bought a life membership. -
I admire the engineering.

When you have it in hand, it should be stamped on the barrel.

My favorite for pocket duty is the S2R Baton II. It’s the perfect size for pocket duty, yet is still bright as all get out. If you wear a ball cap, the S1R does excellent double duty as a pocket light and as a headlamp. The double sided clips on them work very well for that.

F1 suppressor, in progress
Chucktshoes replied to 13JFO's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
True, but e-file form 1 stamps come back in weeks, not months/year. -
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. The only way out of this is through.
