  1. Anyone going to the NRA show? I'm guessing it will be announced there.

I am familiar with the Business Class service and how expensive it is. This will only be used to check on the house when we are on vacation and to turn lights on if we end up being out later than originally expected... Mark

Thanks guys. I wish I could just get a static IP out of comcast... I appreciate the help, Mark
  4. I need a sinple service to redirect my home dynamic IP address to something I can find. I don't really care if it is a name or a number. Does anyone use a service that they like and is reliable? Thanks, Mark
  5. Carrying weaponry on the open seas is one thing, carrying them on the ship into port is another. Tons of treaties and rules about that... Eventually those treaties are going to have to change or I think you will see ships transferring containers outside of ports and letting other ships shuttle it in. Mark
  6. Or, at least shooting blanks...
  7. http://www.rozedist.com/ I bought several different types. Prices are posted on the site, Mark
  8. ^^^^^ Cool, I certainly like mine... Both of my sisters-in-law are coming for week long visits Sunday. That should give me plenty of alone time to get things cranking. I was going to wait a few more weeks before ordering everything but when I saw the gathering of the female clan I knew the time to strike was now! I smoked ribs, chicken, turkey and pork butts over the last couple of weekends. I made fresh salsa, and prepared a bunch of margarita mix. All they have to do is heat the meat, drink margaritas, each chips and salsa and leave me the heck alone for the entire week. I think my plan is coming together nicely... Mark
  9. Cane, I shoot mostly at CHMR although a couple times a month I sneak up to Greenbrier and hit the indoor range after work. Mark

Great show this week. Only 2 more episodes for this season...
  11. I love these jokes. I can't believe I haven't heard that one before...
  12. Longshot, TAC, gold dots in 9 & 40 and a box of 223 zmax. Midway order was delivered at work and shipments from Montana Gold and Zero are due in tomorrow. I've been saving a while to make a good sized order. It's going to be a fun weekend at the bench... Mark
  13. thanks OS Mark
  14. I use accurate #7 & montana gold 125 gr. I finally got some gold dot 125 gr to load. I'm going to load some with #7 & #9 and see which is the most accurate Mark
  15. For some reason my dvr stopped a little early. Rick had just told everyone to go to hell. Did anything else happen? Mark
  16. any chance the brass you are having an issue with has the lead free primers? Mark
  17. 1) I clean my ankle carry gun every 2 weeks. It gets really dirty. 2) I was at the range a few weeks back shooting with a buddy. He handed me his 92 and said he hadn't cleaned it in a while. When I shot it I could actually feel each movement of the slide. It was much like shooting my 870. Bang...ca...clunk... I've never seen the slide of a pistol move that slowly. I think I could actually rack the slide of my 870 faster. I guess it is a testament of how dirty a modern pistol can get and still function.
  18. I have 2 maxpedition bags. The larger one I keep by the bed. In addition to my 226 it keeps a few spare mags, my wallet, my cell phone, and some cash. If there is ever a fire or some other emergency I can grab one thing and run. I keep a smaller one with me when I am on the road. Both of those bags have a belt loop to use if having to wear it for a long time. The strap carries the weight and the loop keeps it secure.
  19. +1 for Greg. I've bought a lot from him over the years and his prices and service are always top notch.
  20. I like the padded VTAC a lot. Beware of cheap slings. I was in a carbine class last year when one came undone. We were working transition drills and on about the 3rd the guy next to me let go of his rifle and it hit the dirt. One of the buckle loops let go completely. There was a quick oh shxx and then it got real quiet on the line...
  21. I like that Noveske pack a lot... Right now I have one of those triangular 5.11 cases. It is good for the car and makes sense for quick deployment but would not be comfy if I had to carry it a long ways like hiking home... Mark
  22. SWAT herer as well. I will check out others and buy them every now and then but I only suscribe to SWAT. I use zinio and dowload it to my ipad. It is a cool way to get it...
  23. Duct tape stage 1: wrap around your head to keep it from exploding. Duct tape stage 2: wrap the kids up with it and roll them into their room. Lest you forget, it is a well known scientific fact that duct tape holds the universe together. Also, don't forget after about 5 minutes you need to go cut some breathing holes in the tape. It will take a little trial and error but eventually you will find the right size hole to keep them conscious but a little loopy. This works Better than booze as there is no residual alcohol to show up later in bloodwork. Mark
  24. Not only is the hammer back it doesn't even have one of them safe trigger thingies... I'm not a SAO kind of guy but 1911's are good looking pistols. That's a good looking firearm Mark
  25. I would think Congressman Hank Johnson would be all over this...
