    Nra

No problem here. I was able to access several different NRA sites.
  2.   You forget...this is the left coast we are discussing here.
  3. Basket weave pocket protector?
  4. And some will spend their hard earned money on this trash. Oey!
  5. Maybe it's just me, but I can't see that the site is any faster, and yes, many new ads.
  6. Strange criteria. About the only place I might agree would be Memphis, and that's not for sure.

    Ruger SR45

I like both Glocks and Sigs, but prefer the Sig 1911 over most of the other models. And yes, I own several of both. No animosity or confusion in this house. At least not on guns. lol
  8.   Might as well dig out Demolition man and watch it. The Titans are getting Demolished by New England.
  9. I completely understand. We had 28 people in our house a few years ago for Christmas. I swore never again! lol
  10. Check with The Gun Crew in Lakewood. I may be mistaken, but thought I saw a box last time I was there. I bought a brick of 22 Subsonic from them.   615-294-5806   Can't hurt to call anyway.
  11. Dang you sure must have gotten close on that one! Unless you were at a light.
  12. Great story! And Merry Christmas to you and the family Doug. Both the 2 and 4 legged kind.
  13. AWESOME doesn't even begin to cover your Secret Santa and his gift giving!! Congratulations on it!!

"Me? I reserve the right to change my mind."   Best comment for all the pistol and caliber wars crap I've ever seen.
  15. You are a cruel man!
  16. Hadn't noticed until you posted, so I checked this morning. Keep getting the "404 File not found" when I try.
  17. Sometime in the early days of 2016(hopefully), Sam will be going thru my '82 era BHP from stem to stern. He's one of the few I'd send it to locally. Maybe the only one.

    Ruger SR45

Sure wish we were closer. lol I have one with ss slide that I'm going to sell. I just don't shoot it. I've had no problems with it. I bought it from a local member, shot it a few times, and got pulled into some other shiney things. It's a comfortable gun. I mean the grip fits me well, and it has a pretty nice trigger on it. Not a match trigger, but I like it. It is one of the softest shooting 45 cal I have ever shot. Surprisingly so with the poly frame. As for size, I have medium small hands and have no trouble holding it. Personally, as far as I'm concerned it is the absolute best of Ruger's SR series guns. Dang if I'm not talking myself into keeping it. lol I had it in a place in the house for a while, but have gone to revolvers for some of those locations. My bedside varies with whatever I'm enamored with and shooting at the time.
  19. Nothing nutty about that. I use the recharable Winchester desiccants in my safes, and have a hygrometer in both to keep track of humidity and temp levels. Also a dehumidifier in the room should it be extremely humid. I plan on changing my safes' positions in the near future and will make sure each has a Golden Rod type in it as well. I used those for many years and seem to have gotten away from them, but now going back. I think they provide better protection. I'm also using the silicon gun and pistol socks on each one. Now that's getting close to the nutty line.
  20. Glad it works for you. My situation is a bit less static. I do have humidity issues because of our property. So I gotta be a bit more involved with storage.
  21. Check the CA USA site.
  22. If anyone interest in milsurp ammo cans, the dealer at the Nashville Flea market has them this weekend. I just got back after buying some. Has the 556 cans for 12, the 50 cal cans for 15, and the next 2 larger sizes for 20 and 30 each. Nice guy to deal with, sorry I can't remember his name. If you go up the hill from the main enterence, he is the first tent on the left corner. Edit: Forgot to mention. These cans are in excellent shape, may find a little sand in them, and a very few scatches on them. I usually open and check for sings of leaks or rust and check the seals. And this is the man most of the lgs get their cans from. So better hurry out.
  23. Oh...I see. Says the blind man. Thanks. It just read kinda funny to me. Or was it me that read it funny?
  24. Thanks. I'll check it out. That's better than my bank.
  25.   Where you getting that much?
