  1. Take care of that shoulder, Pete. My wife has a bad issue with her left shoulder as well. It's been knocked out so many times the rotator cuff is scored so badly the orthopedic guy says it's going to need major work soon. After getting a knee replacement...she says it ain't gonna happen.   Last time it dislocated, it went behind. I bet you know what that means. I've never heard her scream like that as they tried to roll it back into place.   So again, be careful. Don't want to hear anything like that coming from you.
  2.   Yes. He is informative without being dry and boring; and has enough humor about him to make the videos enjoyable.
  3. My understanding of this is that The State Attorney General  came in and told both The Fair Board and Berry that they did not have the legal standing to revoke the existing contracts.   I really don't think either the board or Berry was happy about it. It keeps all parties from lining their pockets on prospective sale of the fairgrounds for a little longer.   At least that's my poor opinion and recollection of the events.
  4.  AWESOME!!!
  5. For what my opinion is worth, I have no problems buying Mec-gar mags. They are the actual manufacturer for many companies. I've used them in my Sigs, Smiths, Taurus,, BHPs, and CZ pistols without issues. I cannot say the same of Promag though. I prefer not to use them.
  6. Agreed. Almost all of my Glocks wear hi-viz.
  7. Good question, David. With all the stuff being posted here and on other forums I visit, (Gasp! Yeah, I do stray occasionally) all the comments have been just on missing him and where he could go next. So the monetary question will arise. I'd bet on it.
  8. I thought the trigger a bit better than on mine, and I really like the hi-viz sights. So at least a sight change is in store for mine.
  9. My opinion. In a word...No. Maybe it's a poor memory, but it does seem like ammo some years back didn't seem to leave as much residue as nowadays. But when I shoot now, it all seems to leave powder everywhere. As Jonnin mentioned, lots of factors involved, but I question the quality of powders these days. With all the ammo being manufactured and sold, there has to be a push to get the most available product out, regardless of quality. So what I'm trying to say is that maybe lower quality powders used than previously to produce massive quantities.
  10. Good Man! I hope you got it all. lol   I got a couple bricks stashed for emergencies.
  11. HOORAY!!!!!  :usa:
  12.   Just to stir things up here...and Steelharp caused this one for me and has now disavowed it...how about a Walther?   Specifically the PPQ Model 2 in 9mm or 45. I have both and absolutely LOVE the 9. I like the 45. But I blame the difference on the felt recoil and my arthritic wrist. I may have to get out of 45 if this keeps up.
  13.   LOL   You don't know how badly I want to multi click several order buttons right now.  But just cannot do it at this point.
  14. I don't have enough to do that. Yet. But I did order some. At 9 each if you bought more than 7. AT that and no shipping...that's really good.
  15. Hey...you keep this up and I'll start to worry about your 357 envy as well. We all know you worship at the throne of the Magnum, and its little bro the 10mm. lol
  16. Buddy between your derogatory comments on the all powerful 40S&W round, and now this....I'm losing a lot of respect for you. lol I personally like Adele (no last name), the toast of England. She does have a sometimes raspy, but powerful voice that I find quite good. I know...JMO.
  17. True, if you're going to cover another artists material...do a better job than this.     Nothing wrong with doing a cover of anothers material. Many singers and groups do it. Some just better than others. And rarely does it have the sound and feel of the original.
  18. Either Jeff at G&L or Sam Hoster in Gallatin. These are my go to guys for any needed work. You can't go wrong with either one. Distance from me is about the same for both, but since I like to combine trips and errands to save money( retired and fixed income nowadays), I usually go to Sam Hoster. That way if I have any money left, I can do my Sam's Club shopping in Hendersonville on the way back.
  19. Thanks, I'll give these a try. Even though I don't think I need any more. lol
  20. Really, those are great looking boots. I grew up in a family that had both parents working in the shoe industry...Acme and Texas Boot companys.   So have an appreciation for boots. I just can't wear them anymore...too many injuries to my right foot. I just can't bend my ankle and instep enough to get thru the throat of the boot.   And...those are some great pictures! Especially the first one, which is my favorite.
  21. Yes, I started wearing them while working in the yard. Got tired of always pulling up my pants. Best move I've made in a long while. I'm much more comfortable with them.   Tercel, and all you guys considering them, be sure and look at the snap closures for the back. Some of them can be so large and aggressive they will wear thru shirt material and leave imprints in your car seat.   My wife bought me a new pair and I almost ripped the leather in my car they had such sharp edges.
