That's great. When manufacturers and public events people stand against laws like this, it will really, hopefully anyway, cause these legislators to think about actions like this that will impact revenues within the state.

I won't say it looks great to me, but I will say it looks effective and will definitely provide a more agressive grip surface.

Very interesting look. I think I like it. But lord stope me...I have enough things to shoot now.

 Sadly, my first thought was... :bs:

Sacrilage!! Comparing the wonder that is the CZ75B to the 92FS? :stunned: :squint:

Don't listen to this man. He's obviously a shill for Glock, S&W, or Colt.

To me, and feel free to disagree with my impressions, it seems that these frivilous studies are being asked for and set up by the cultural and liberal elite who think all should think as they do. So why spend money to examine something they obviously agree with and condone. Don't they already know the awnsers?

TN civil forfeiture laws may change for the good
hipower replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in General Chat
Yes it would be, but.... ...will the state do this and stop the money-making this policy allow local and fed law offices? Hope I'm wrong, but I think it unlikely. -
Seriously though, the strange thing is that I really don't usually keep any of the Berettas that I've bought over the years. And I've had a bunch of them. My issue is similar to yours in that my hands are really just a bit too small for the Beretta grips. But I always seem to have one or two around. I have a Desert Storm Commerative that I picked up NIB about 3 years ago, and a "Beretta Pistol Pak" as it said on one of the papers with it. It's a 9mm/40 combo with both uppers. I've had it since they were produced, and don't really remember just exactly how long ago it was. And you'd be right if you guessed that I've fired neither one. Just too pretty to look at to dirty them up. And I have shot several that I've owned. Nice range guns, just not my first choice or even second. But dang...that Inox is sweet. If I'm not careful I might end up with a SS or nickel next.

OS this is all your fault. After you posted about these, I just had to do it. I got mine today! She's a beauty. And no, the wife doesn't know yet. I told her I was thru buying for a while...at least til I sold a few more. If I'm missing after tonight...she found it.

Cookeville man shot by rifle in hard case?
hipower replied to billyscott's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Yes, you are right. No matter what form of negligence was the cause of this tragedy, we must not lose sight of the fact that a family has lost their father and husband. -
May I add my "Congratulations" to the list. I echo all the previous sentiments and add one thing. Meet all the boys at the door before she leaves the house with one. Start now.

You have devious, suspicious mind, peejman. I thought pretty much the same thing. I don't pull my rifle, or handgun for that matter, from a case having the barrel pointed at me. -
How much is too much to pay for ammo right now?
hipower replied to LowBb's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I will agree with you on that. And ad to what was said earlier, it's difficult to run all over town checking for ammo. I have 2 locations i check when I'm out making a visit to chiropractor and taking my wife to physical therapy. Other than that, the time wasted and cost of gas doesn't make sense. I've bought a little from a couple of guys here, when the price was reasonable, even got a couple hundred rounds of 45 and 9 at close to pre-panic prices. But that's about as far I as can go with the scrounging day and night hitting stores. It doesn't work for me factoring other costs. The only thing I've gotten on either of the 2 big auction sites was a case of CCI MINI Mags at 300. Yeah, that's high, but now I have enough 22 for shooting without having to break into the bunker and deplete my stock. Doesn't mean I didn't grip about it, but I did it for peace of mind on it. -
No...that's water foul.

Major, I'm sorry to say this, but you're beginning to sound like the grumpy old fart that I've become. -
I'm with Steelharp on this, I'd like to get a Saiga in 223/556. Reliable and fun. Ideally it would be one of the Vepr models for me, but hard to find at a reasonable price right now. Maybe later on.

Aw shucks. I just finally figured out how to say what I wanted inthe first place. Thanks. BTW, got a trade going down.

A great awnser for you, Spots. I know it doesn't help much on the face of it; but as g-w-gun said in a nutshell, it's your choice. What do you really want. That's all that matters. And I didn't vote on this. I don't have near enough experience with any rifle to give advice to someone else on such a personal choice as a rifle.

Well said, Flyboy. You beat me out. Sweet find, Jason. For some strange reason...I find myself attracted to the brightly colored Federal Hi-Power box.
