  1. Sad? No, I don't think so. At least not terribly so, not until we get involved to the point of excess, which sometimes happens.   But still, it's just excapist entertainment.   We all have something that allows us to put aside the "normal" day to day things that we focus on, and go to that other place where we can "live" out a different existance, a fantasy world, if you will.   Nothig wrong with that. Some of us use books. Some use TV. Some Politics and Talk Radio. Whatever form it takes...it's usually just a break in the day,...just stress relief.   Unless it's those of us who seem to live here 24/7.   That's a whole 'nother issue.
  2.   Liberals who think they know better than everyone else.
  3. ...where they were welcomed with open arms
  4. Well, it's not that bad here in Nashville today. Saw 3.49 at most of the common gas stops in the Madison area, but go 2-3 miles away and 3.37 on Dickerson Pike.
  5. Yep, that was a slick touch. I was wondering why we kept seeing Merle checking out the vehicles. Now I know.
  6. Sorry if you're offended Jim, but I've just added you to the no clue, unimportant, non citizen, you're welcome to leave my country list.  Don't let the border cause you to stumble and stay any longer.
  7. Well..... I sure didn't see THAT coming. I was figuring Andrea, maybe even Herschel; but not Merle. Didn't even think about him turning as the Gov shot him, not when as Daryl was going out after him.   But as the scene progressed with Daryl going thru the bodies, it began to creep up on me. And as we saw the hunched over, from the back shot...I gasped...NO...can't be.   Truly a surprise to me. I consider myself pretty devious and can think out most of the plot lines, but I sure missed this one.   So who's next???
  8. Is it just me, or is the Outpost Armory beginning to get a bit of a negative rep?
  9. I'm thinking Andrea. No real basis for it, just thinking we last saw her strpped into the Gov's little dental chair and he's really pissed off at her.
  10.   The 625 is an awesome gun.
  11. YES! Just watched both seasons thru over the last 7-10 days. Really good stuff I must say. And I've never been into the fantasy style stuff, but I'm really liking this. In fact, my wife was the one who got me into it. She's just fanatic over it.
  12. I    :usa:   you, Sir!   Wonderful find.
  13. Ahh... The Great Kentucky Conan Returns!!!
  14. Very Sweet. It looks awesome. I don't usually like folders, but this one could change my mind.   I missed getting the one you built that was available lately. Could I get in line to snag this one?   I just know you'll want to build another, or something even better. :pleased:
  15.   Sorry, can't read this late I guess.
  16.   You are not cheap. Merely justifiably frugal.
  17. Edited.   OK...too sleepy. Guess I misread the bill and vote.   Chalk it up to a long day.
  18.  UH...Ditto.   That was an awesome presentation of intelligence and common sense.   I wonder if that will ever be heard on any broadcast network?
  19. Off topic I know, but I can relate to the gas pressure. After several surgeries in the last few years; I can say that the gas pains are a real problem. They can cause really bad, ncomfortable times for several days to a week sometimes.   My continued prayers for our friend and family.
  20.   I really can't think of a decent way to say what I want, so I'll let frankmako's comment stand for me.   I truly believe one of the absolute worst things to happen in this country was when the crybabies got hold of the prison and then the justice systems in whole.    Prison is not a dererant for anyone these days. The judicial system is one short step away from falling completely apart.   Senetnces for crimes are absurd, but we can give permanent black marks on school children for drawing a gun. We expell them for saying "Bang" or having, gasp... a pair of nail clippers in a backpack. We encourage the littlest children to run to the teacher and turn in one who says daddy might have an evil gun at home.   Hmmm, maybe I do have something to say...   I related this story several years ago when I first joined, but I'll give you a short version here.   I worked for a small company in Nashville in the 80's, where I did several different things, but one was to handle outbound shipping with local freight lines. Soon after I started, one of the company manager's stepsons was arrested for involment in an armed robbery of a convience market. He was convicted and along with two others sentenced to three years.   Shortly afterwards, the manager started sending care packages to him. At first, just a few items like a magazine, book, couple packs of cigs, etc. Then the packages I sent out became larger and larger, including civie clothing(seems he didn't have to wear prison issue and hurt his feelings), cartons of cigs, porno mags by the dozen, boxed games, then, I swear, a 19 inch portable Color TV!   Soon afterward a Nintendo Game system, and a cassette tape deck so he could play and have music at night.    As God as my witness, when the young man was released; it took the open bed of a pickup to bring all his stuff out.   Ad to add further insult, our tax money paid for him to be "educated" while there. He attended classes to become a welder at our expense.   No wonder prison works so well.
  21. Next news from New York:  Bloomberg Restricts Salt Sales and Purchases!
  22. I use every linked form letter I find daily. Try to send faxes on each bill, but haven't sent enough personal letters.   But guys, you must use every avenue available to you, as often as possible.   Do not let up. Keep the volume coming. As I really doubt all but a few get read, make the numbers of recieved messages so great that it overwhelms the system daily.   Stay Vigilant!
  23. Glad to hear about this. Will have to schedule some time to come up.
  24. Yes, you're right, npgunner. These are the 23 EO's from the Jan. 16, 2013 "I'm Great. Look at  what I'm doing for you pep rally". Uh.. I mean the Jan. 16 press conference. But they are just as much notable now as then in that we need to be constantly reminded of the threat O and Joe, along with all the others, pose for us and the 2ND Amendment.
  25. What? You don't think a 3-time Purple Heart decorated veteran of the Vietnam campaign knows what he's doing? And that it's all in our best interest?   Why, how could we be so obtuse as to question his intentions or loyalty to the United States Constitution?   Shame on you. :stunned:  :squint:
