  1. Although it wasn't my question, thanks guys for the information. I too have been thinkning about some dedicated tools for my guns. And like several have said quality is the best way to go on buying tools. You won't regret it in the long run.   Looks like a Whia set will be my choice. Don't think the German engineering would be a bad investment.
  2.   This...but stand in the corner? I think something more on the order of "pound sand" might be forthcoming.
  3. Demanding little so-and-so. What gives him the right, nay, even the cojones' to think he is in a position to dictate to either NASCAR or the NRA?   Just because he's a senator?
  4.   It's been a couple of weeks since I was in G&L H'ville. I don't remember there being a rental 1911 in the case. Not saying that one isn't available, just should call and find out before driving. Actually check the Greenbriar store as well since it's back open.   Hey bikertrash, how do like the SR45?
  5.   Yikes!! Don't shoot that til checked or repaired.   That's not pitting. That's a major excavation site started.  Seriously, that is some pretty rough looking damage.
  6. Yes, Ruger 22s are almost as addicting as Glocks and 1911 .
  7.    Amen, brother. We are in total agreement.   The liberal madness is so rampant I rear there is no hope of sanity left for the country.
  8. Wow! 73? Gee he's a old fart now!
  9. Waterproof safe? Not many are waterproof. I ran into one claiming to waranty against water damage. It actually stated in the fine print that the "warranty would pay for cleaning and possibly, maybe, if you have all the documentation and jump thru all the specified hoops; offer replacement on the safe and some firearms.
  10. Pretty good one!
  11. I think so, but can't awnser that for you. 22 pistols are usually inexpensive, and you can get pretty good quality for 300-400 new. Yes the ammo is hard to find now, but maybe that can get you a better price on a good 22 pistol.   Of course you cold try for a conversion kit for your current pistol....lol. but they're pretty hard to come by now as well. :stunned:   I have to believe that we will come out of this...and 22 rounds will be available again. The alternative is just too depressing.
  12. Sweeet.
  13. I can't help you  on your question, but must say this is one beautiful pistol.   I'm pretty sure I'm in love...I just got thru looking for one. Didn't find one, btw.   Excuse me now...I need some alone time with this pic.
  14. Jax is awwwwwwsome!!
  15. Add my congratulations as well. It will be great having a decent role model for the kids there. Maybe you can wean them away from R. Kelly.
  16.   Can't ever do it, brother.   Look what happened when Adam relaxed with Eve and the Apple.
  17. Prayers offerred up just now. God Bless you all, especially your Grandmother at this time.
  18. Great. If it works, I'll buy a breeding pair from you.
  19. Yes...to all above comments.   But can you afford to shoot that rare and expensive 22?
  20. TR, you just about messed my head with that pic! I was trying to figure out how you mounted thase cans on the wall. :stunned: Then I saw the door frame. Sometimes I just ain't right. :squint:
  21. 6.8, ever come to the Nashville Flea Markets? Found a guy a couple months ago that sells nice, clean cans with good seals from 8-20 depending on size.   556 were 8 each 762 were 10   I've bought 20 over the last couple of months and been very satisfied with price and condition. Of course you may have a closer source that close to Campbell.
  22.           Notice a trend here? Glock 19, for all the reasons here.
  23. Welcome. I won't hold it against you....for long anyway.
  24.   Yeah...sorta looks that way.
