  1.    I must say it is one of the fairest pices on the fireams debate to be published in the Tennessean, ever.   Thank you.
  2.  I got a little groin pull in fencing..
  3. If I understand the basic thread of the treaty, It could ban the importation of certain firearms to the US. I know that's oversimplifiying it. But that 's what I got out of it, as a starting point.
  4. ..nearest training center and signed up for fencing lessons. Since I was emasculated in the gnome brawl, I need to learn to defend myself...
  5.  Don't talk about Glocks, traitor. Go back to you PPS and stay out of the mens department.   Couldn't resist, Steel. Just had to go for it.   I did catch myself holding one the other day. :ugh: I might end up with another. Just depends on the mood I'm in and the price.   Seriously though, I do prefer the frame with out FS and rails. But that's just me.
  6.    I believe you are right. In several cases, UN Delegates from the minor, have nots, third world, have openly avowed that the wealth of the US and its people should be divided "equitably" with the rest of the world.   Socialism or Communism. Choose your poison. If we cowtow to the UN, we are well and truly finished as a world power. And we are teetering  on the edge of a fall right now.
  7. Good shootin' pard.
  8. ...hyperventilating flatulent camel...
  9. Why do we continue to let a body that we(the US) support; composed of third world wannabes influence our nation. And tell our citizens how to act, what they can own, and try to shut down personal freedoms. Yes I know the last was a "worst case scenerio" according to the politicos, and wont ever happen.
  10. ...a broadsword and a mace and proceeded to thoroughly trounce my butt..
  11.  Admittedly, I didn't remember that at first, but it sorta puzzled me till my memeory got jogged by the posts here.   But agree with that the line was a reference to the handgun training and letting Rick know all was well with her, i.e.: that she knew what had to be done and didn't want the memeory and guilt to fall on one of her "family."
  12. a local gunshow to proifiter on his ill gotten stash...
  13. OK, the old man can't read or do simple math. Guess I got fixated on the last case I bought in early '12. It was 225 shipped.   My humble apologies.
  14.    That's true. The last time I was there, a cousin took me on little tour of several areas that looked like I would expect to be like Beirut after some of the bombings.   It's really sad. Chicago was once a showplace of America, But now...
  15. Anyone need some Armscor 22 mag? Just got an email from them.   SG has it at $721 for 5000 rounds.    Not trying to rag on them, but really?
  16. Doesn't think the incidents will affect tourism.   I wouldn't call Chicago a place I would like visit unless with a full battle kit and an Abrahms.   Seriously though, I do have some family in southern Illinois, and they tell me they are thinking of moving to East Tennessee.
  17. On a lighter note, did you see the walls and inventory in The Armory? Seems that he has some pretty sought after items in stock.
  18.       Yes, HIghpoint and Red are correct. All too many people, even some gun owners, still have their heads in the sand, or stuck up somewhere else; and refuse to see what is coming.   Sniping along one gun or mag at a time, the process continues. And the endgame is the complete and total disarming of this country.   Yes, it will be, hopefully, very difficult because of the sheer number of weapons in the hands of the public. But it can and will happen if we don't stand together.   Call. Write. Email all your elected representatives. Be vocal, but be nice. Be firm and insistant.   We will not stand for the piece by piece erosion of our freedoms and our Country.   It's more than time we stopped arguing amongst ourselves about which organization, which politican, which party is best.   Unless we keep pressure on, keep sending messages, stop electing the same tired old guys who have shown that they work for themselves and not for the people....It Won't Stop.   Stand Up People. Take off the rose colored glasses and see what's happening around you.   Shut down the tv and stop watching Survivor, Dance this or that, Idol and Voice crap. And even Walking Dead! Maybe that's too much for some of you.   But if we don't wake up and fight back....We are Lost.
  19. There's a lot of good pc guys here to help. Unfortunately I know squat about it.
  20. My condolences for you and your friends' family.
  21. The liberator is a cool little pistol. I've seen and handled one and I like it. If not mistaken, my father-in-law had one a few years ago.
  22.  Glad you are ok. Sorry about the wife's nose. You''ll probably suffer for that. :pleased:   I was a road warrior for 14 years and got the crap scared out of me more times than I care to think about. Once while using the cell, I blew right thru a red light.   Thankfully God was with me and the car I just missed.   I'm still shaking thinking about it. Driving a 5 ton box truck and just missed a Taurus sedan. I stil fail sometimes, but I try not to use the phone while driving.
  23. That's just cruel.
  24. what's for breakfast, honey
  25. Pistol looked awesome before...now it's awesomer!!! Seriously.
