  1. According to current thoughts on zombie killing...no. It takes trama to the brain to put them down. But the same bayonet thru the eye sockedt into the brain would be a stopping blow.
  2. Wonderful!!!
  3. Saw one of the Mossbergs with all the rails this weekend, but it didn't have the above stock. In the configuration without the extendable stock, it wasn't bad.
  4. Ya know, I like it. Wonder what that means?
  5. I did go by, and maybe it wasn't a great bargain, but I did pick up a case of Russian 7.62x39 from John Farmer. And traded my CZ SP-01 Phantom...for a CZ SP-01. Found a georgeous steel frame model with an absolutely fantastic trigger. Maybe foolish, but I did it anyway. I think it will be a great range gun/house gun. I figured that I had enough polymer pistols and needed a real gun again.
  6. He was set up about the middle of the last row on the back.
  7. Come on down and keep me out of trouble. I guess I'll take my CZ and give it a stroll around the floor for a while as I look for some bargain ammo.

    Justified

My wife likes it more than I do. Wonder what that means? Hey, on another topic. You know the series is based on an Elmore Lenoard short story. Well, was in Barnes&Nobel this afternoon and saw Lenoard's new book on the window shelf as I was leaving. It's titled "Raylan." Gee, ya'think he decided to make some more money on the character? I'll pick it up this weekend when I go out.
  9. What he said.

    sig p220 Compact

Don't have any evidence to back me up here. But I'd think the sig would be a bit wider than the defender, and the overal height and length similar. I'm basing this on the 220 I have and thing that the Sig is a pretty massive firearm, whereas the 1911 platform tends to be a little more sleek and slender. But as I said, this is just an uneducated guess.
  11. Thanks. Will try to stop by.
  12. Very nice. I like the magpul handguards.
  13. Ok. New customer. At least once in a while. Gas costs do enter into it as well as time. Yes, I know I'm cheap. But realistically, it is something we all will start having to factor in a lot more than we have in the past. At least I will. I'll probabably even have to cut down on my trips to Eastside.
  14. Thanks buddy. Foolish question, but is this outdoor? Or indoor?
  15. As I said earlier, my wife hated the Bissel we found. Too heavy and bulky for her to use easily. Maybe there is a smaller version. We will try looking for a location that sells more than just one of each brand. It's kinda rigged so you see just enough to confuse, but not enough to make an intelligent choice sometimes. I really long for the days when you could go to a vaccum shop, not a big box store. Where the salespeople actually knew something besides the price on the tags.
  16. Steel, do you know how long the rifle portion is?
  17. Naw, it's uglier than that.
  18. You left out the FN/CZ influence with the funky grip.
  19. I never knew vaccums were so much fun. I showed this to my wife a while ago. She thinks we should all find something else to do.
  20. Now that is an Evil Black Rifle. I like it!
  21. Of course I didn't mean nice people like you sir. i was refering more to those like Mike357 and myself.
