  1. In a scary kind of way.
  2. As is the case in most questions, many awnsers are available. However; Jonin and 1gewehr, in posts #6 and #8, respectively, cover about all the important points. If you follow these tips, you shold find yourself in good shape. Happy hunting.
  3. Yes, interesting. But 85% scale? and 600 bucks. I'd rather buy a conversion kit for my Kimber.
  4. Yes, but only to have a weapon to surrender at the next available opportunity.
  5. . I'm gonna have to go and shoot something. I'm thinking the same thing. I got a couple of new, to me, guns to try out. G&L looks like a likely stop.
  6. I really think you've opened a can of worry there, strickj. It does give one pause to think. Does, or will, Sarah Palin have enough clout to make a run for the nomination? Then could she win out over Obama? Good questions. Perhaps we will just have to wait for the outcome.
  7. I love the grips!!
  8. Just got these and they are great. Smooth and reliable.
  9. For crimsonaudio, run for cover. My wife, the greatest John Wayne fan alive, has tried and convicted you in her mind. The post from Westwindmike depicts her intentions.
  10. Love your description and assesment.

+1. I'd like one, but not a premium to get one quickly.
  12. No Jamie, it wasn't meaningless. It was a fine thing to day. I know you miss Bella and always will. Juust keep her in your heart and she wil be with you forever.
  13. A good choice. My first sprinfield was and Xd9sc. A bit of advicethough. If later, you feel the urge for a laser sighting system; unless you have large hands, I'd not recommend the laser grips style. A rail mount or guide rod unit would be my nest. Nothing against lasers, especially the ctc units, but the grip attachment style really adds girth to the grip size. Just my own experience as I have medium to small hands. But the gun itself is a great fit.
  14. Two beautiful and bountiful tables set before us.
  15. Very good. Merry Christmas to you.
  16. Yes, quite an intriguing look about it. Please keep us informed, although I'm tempted to try and order on speculation.
  17. Thanks. I 'm very sorry for your loss as well and will keep you in my prayers. A loss at any time is horrible, but around Christmas just makes it that much harder to get thru. You so much want and need to gather and comfort each other as well as commerate the memories, but it makes celebrating so very difficult as it affects everyone around you as well as the family and friends. Be strong and hold your family tightly. God Bless.
  18. That'll teach you not to talk back to Rabbi.
  19. I recieved a wonderful gift from my wife--a complete surprise. As I was unwrapping a framed picture, I was stunned...It was a picture of my dad taken about 1960 on a range with his shooting club. He was in the front of a line of four shooters with his favorite Winchester bolt-action 22; his homemade range box, that I still have by him; and in the background was his was his 56 Buick Coupe. Just a nice picture? Yes, very nice. But what's special about it? I'd never seen the picture before. My wife and Mom had found this and planned it for me. Not only a very special gift, but the Mom's last gift for me. We lost her in August.
  20. Beautiful. What more can I say?
  21. I'd just like to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It's been quite a year for me personally, full of extremes; highs and lows, good and bad. I know others have had troubles as well, so I'll not go into them again. I'd just like to wish to the old friends, all the new friends I've made, and the ones I've yet to meet... A very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.
  22. Beautiful work. Your father-in-law must be a great man to recieve such a gift. Or...you're just a trying to get on his good side.
  23. Well Done, Sir. Now I really like that pretty one too...gonna hook me up?

Glad to hear they're showing up. And even more glad that your thoughts and findings are favorable. I've like the 22mag since I shot my first in a K22 SW and have been looking forward to seeing and getting this gun. Thanks for the report.
