Always heard, just because your own a diet, dosen't mean you can't check out the menu. -
Here is the perfect example of how the Wingman system works. A man brings his best buddy home for dinner unannounced after work at 5:30, His wife begins screaming at him while his friend just sits and listens. "My hair & makeup are not done, the house is a mess, the dishes aren't done. I'm still in my pajamas and I can't be bothered with cooking tonight! Why the hell did you bring him unannounced to oud home?" "Because he's thinkig about geting married"

Are You A Real, Gun Using, Outdoors Kind Of Man?

I spend alot of time outdoors, infact I work outdoors. I do and have done alot of those things, never heard of the Schnees before though, sorry. I usually have a sharp knife with me most of time, as for the Glock, well don't and never have even owned one. Of the six lever action rifles I own only two are scoped. I do have a .35, but mine is a pump, will some day add one in a lever. Stil own and ride horses so I guess I can saddle one. Elmer Keith, who, only kidding guys. Oh yeah, have two dogs but they sleep in the house, but love being outside and chasing the tree rats. -
Wasn't me, I can tell you that.

Hey Redd you got anything like this? Its the smallest one I've got lol, just kidding. Picked this one up this past summer, got another same size that I've had for over 25 yrs. Have cooked no telling how many stews in it. This one needs to be cleaned and reseasoned.

Sweet! And I just love inexpensive ones and a lever to beat. Watch out those lever guns can become addictive.

They both look good fellas.

2014 Off Season Support Group Deer Season Thread
Sidinman replied to Slappy's topic in Hunting and Fishing
Well I am sad & glad at the same time about the season being over. Sad that the only time I saw a truely nice shooter buck was the weekend of the juvenile hunt and I couldn't shoot. Glad it was a safe season, and for the deer that I did get, 1 cull that needed to be taken, and three does. Glad that I don't have to get up early on my days off, lol. Glad for all the memories and the sights and sounds of nature that I got to enjoy. Congrats to all that got the opportunity to take a deer, and better luck this fall to those that weren't as successful. Was a good year all an all. Hey, won't be that long til we get to chase Daves favorite bird. lol. Sorry couldn't help it Dave. -
Rightwinger you forgot the .35 Rem in a lever very capable, and a real thumper. I got a .444 this year and it is becoming my favorite real fast, it is reliable and accurate out to 200 yds.

2014 Off Season Support Group Deer Season Thread
Sidinman replied to Slappy's topic in Hunting and Fishing
Yeah, thanks Ruger I was looking out to north. Turned to pour a little coffee and caught a glimpse of him coming acroos the south side and couldn't get on him fast enough. I would have loved to give him a flip with the ole turdy-turdy. May try and see about getting a few of them now that deer season is coming to an end. My neighbor missed one last week, he said it was runnig across in front of him but never stopped so he took a shot at it running but didn't have any luck. -

Went this morning, stayed til 10, no deer. I did see a coyote sneak across behind me, but not in time to get a shot off. Will try again tomorrow, hopefully can bag one more. Wish we had one more week, its going to be to cold to work the first part of the week. Guess I'll do a little reloading. But can't complain though I have taken 4 this year using 3 different rifles. Was wanting to take one with the SBH again this year but hasn't worked out. I'll take it and the 30-30 tomorrow as I haven't taken anything with either this year, never know tomorrow may be the day. Any way been a good season with some memorible times. Good luck to everyone who is going to give it one last shot tomorrow.
