  7. Sheet ice here between H'ville and White House.
  8. It's well worth the drive. We drive 76 miles one way to shoot there.
  9. Call ahead. If Tony is there he might sign you up on the spot if you are lucky. Otherwise during a scheduled sign up time probably is best.
  10. Here's my son at the state 1,000 yard F class match last fall.    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKJvhKMswhg   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u90Xcwqkdro
  11.   Probably not because he does background check before you get your membership.
  12. Since nobody mentioned it.   Aside from being able to shoot out to 1250, they have target cameras that are operational all the time (provided there is sun to charge them). Just tune them to the distance you are shooing.   Best part of shooting .308 at the 1250 target is. After you take shot, you have time to take off your muffs, watch the hit and wait for the sound to come back!   :)   They also allow .50 BMG. You must take a class for that as well but good to go after that. Friend of mine shooting some $10 dollar bills last time we were there!   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onSL4MhkGRM&feature=youtu.be
  13. 100,000 BTU Modine PDP. These are nice as you can vent them horizontal.
  14.   I drove three hours yesterday just to chrono 15 rounds at 1,000 yards but as my wife says, I'm crazy!  :)
  15.   Stay near "Buck Eye" Lake when you go up to Thunder Valley. It's about an hour away because there is nothing around the range.
  16. I chrono'd a bunch with a Magnetospeed last year in a Savage TRR-SR. Stingers were the fastest around 1,500. You would have to have a pretty long barrel to get 1,600+.   Did some match type ammo as well. 17. I'm done watching any of his stuff after the anti gun comments he made last week.
  18. When you are done cleaning, apply some anti-sieze as you would on a car application. You will be glad you did. Makes it much easier to clean next time.
  19. Totally depends on the ogive of the bullet and chamber of your gun. Some like jammed, some like jumped. You just need to load a bunch up and see what your rifle likes.   I have one rifle that shoots best a .035-.040" jump.
  20. Midsouth Marksmen welcomes Jr shooters. My son started shooting F/TR when he was 13. AlleyCat's daughter started when she was 10.    http://www.midsouthmarksmen.com/
  21. Yep distance is the factor. Shorter distances will not be an issue as much. I would offer a blanket statement and say unless you are shooting past 500 yards, I would not worry about it.
  22. Sales leads, documents etc. are the property of the employer. Yes they can prohibit you from taking them and if they don’t at the time, can sue you later for taking them. What they can’t take is intellectual property (memory of customers names, numbers, technology you utilized etc).   I doubt it would go this far but I would refrain from taking documents from them.
  23. Picking one out is the best part!  :)
