  1. Sounds like he ran a home restoration business.   http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/woman-injured-tenn-home-explosion-dies-22497850
  2.   Range.   Agreed it's their range and can ask if they want. Was 5-6 hours from home and did not plan on packing up my stuff and leaving.
  3.   Personally, I would rather see Prius's and other hybrids!  :)
  4. Regardless, I'm sure they will find who did it. These things rarely go unsolved.
  5. A black '62!     Nooooooo.................
  6. I would not worry about. You are talking about maybe a 30-50 deg F change in temp. Just my $.02.
  7. Let me know if you want some pics, I can send you some.
  8. I carry mine w/ my suppressor and was asked to show it at a range in OH once. Good thing I had it.
  9. Yes. Are you working w/ Josh?
  10. I just used All American Garage Builders (Elite Builders) in Hendersonville. I got three estimates and they worked with me the most to get where I needed to be.
  11. Furnace is a must in my opinion if you work in a garage a lot. I probably spend as much time in the garage as the house. I converted my Modine NG I had at my old house to Propane.
  12.   I would have rather broken my bench top. I broke my my large vise once by applying a stupid amount  torque using a floor jack handle. Broke clean in half!
  13.   Ditto on weather. If good, we will be there. Since we missed the last 1,000, my son is itching to try his new rifle this year. Think my friend is bringing his son as well. Should be fun. Only fly in the ointment is rain. Not driving 4 hrs to get soaking wet in cold rain. Did that twice last year and that was enough.  :)
  14.   Or Gin!
  15. Workbenche(s)
  16. As posted on another forum. Look how many rounds this guy is selling!   Yes, he and people like him are part of the problem. So are the buyers.   http://www.gunbroker.com/All/BI.aspx?IncludeSellers=2735131
  17. Even w/ a 24" last year, I was only at 2650 FPS with a 175g .308. Was still supersonic at 1,000 but not where I wanted it to be.   Went to a 30" this year using same load was over 100 FPS faster.    173rdABN, your going to have one HOT load w/ a 20" barrel to shoot 1,000 and be supersonic at the target. Where are you now for powder?

    Guns Stolen

And this is why I'm extremely guarded when I have people I don't know very well in the house. I put stuff away and they will not see what I don't want them to see. Repair service calls, etc. all kinds of stuff gets put away. My wife thinks I over react. I don't think so.   Sorry to hear about your stuff. Could have been worse, it's just stuff.
  19.   What he said above with my changed comment.     If you are wanting to try longer, for a .308, short of hand loading your own, hands down one of the most accurate box ammo is Black Hills in either 168 or 175. Federal GMM is close.    Black Hills 168 will get you out to 600-700 yards with really good accuracy. The 175 if you want to take it farther.    Before I started hand loading I tried a bunch of various brands. Black Hills always was the most accurate. Southwest Ammo was very close 2nd.
  20. Just going out on a limb.............   Ex employee?
  21. Chip did mine as well.
  22. Saw the scores, great job!   Wish we could have been there.
