  1. Yeah what happened to those
  2. My first T/C Contender was a 30-30 pistol with a 10" barrel. That was a fun little gun to shoot.

    New Rifle

The new 6mm ARC is getting some good press right now.
  4. Sounds good. I will have to check it out. I have started watching several Korean crime/cop shows. Korea puts out some good shows. They are subbed though dubbed. Stranger is a straight cop/crime based show while Signal is cop/crime show with a little sci-fi thrown in.
  5. Time to bump this thread up. Last night I grilled some sandhill crane breasts.
  6. Welcome
  7. I am just the opposite. I do not like Irish Whisky or Scotch but love bourbon.
  8. You mean one of these??? I will see if I can find another bottle
  9. The inspiration for this song, Cathy Smith, just passed. She was also the woman who injected John Belushi with the fatal drug overdose.
  10. That should put some meat in the freezer. Nice little thumper.

I will be headed thru Memphis in about 3 weeks.
  13. Keep the winchester.
  14. Courts ruled it was legal for them to do it.
  15. Damn. Had no idea TWRA was doing things like that. It definitely needs to stop.
  16. They are thick rubber strips that came with the kit. The kit consisted of the three resetting targets on top and the one hanging target. It also came with the brackets for the legs. You supply the 4x4 and 2x4s for the legs.
  17. They are ar500 but the ones rated for pistols. Some dumbass decided to shoot it with .300 win mag FMJs.
  18. I have always like and wanted one of those but have not used one.
  19. They only made the Marlin 375 for about 3 years from late ‘79-‘82. I don’t reload for it. You can shoot .38-55 and 375 Winchester through it. I am not planning on shooting it a ton so I will just buy Buffalo Bore ammo for it.
  20. I have not been able to get out and shoot in quite a while. Finally had some free time and decided to take out a couple of new to me guns that I have not shot yet. Loaded up the truck and grabbed my Marlin 336 in .44 mag, Marlin 375 in .375 winchester and my Ruger Redhawk. I was mainly just trying too get the iron sights to hit point of aim at 50 yards. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the 336 in .44 mag is quite accurate. Had a lot fun ringing the steel at varying yardage, mainly from 40-60 yards. I didn't have my shooting glasses so iron sights can be a bit of problem if I am much farther than 50 yards. The Marlin 375 I think is going to be a great deer gun. I was shooting Buffalo Bore .38-55 from a rest and keeping 3" groups with iron sights was a breeze. I will be a good walking in the woods gun where you need quick shots and medium distances. I might put a low power scope on it and see what it can do at longer distances but have not decided yet. Shooting the Redhawk in single action was great for ringing the steel. Lets just say I need a lot of practice shooting it double action. lol
  21. That would be a lot of fun.
