  1. Welcome aboard. You will find out that there are quite of few of us in the West Nashville/Bellevue area. I also second Royal Range. Great people and a really nice range.
  2. I saw some this weekend and it was expensive. $20 for a 50 round box. (I am assuming it was FMJ)
  3. Welcome
  4. Nice. Good luck.
  5. I am doing a cow elk hunt in December in New Mexico.
  6. Good for the armed citizen.
  7. I have always been a bourbon or Tennessee whiskey guy. My son got me an early Father’s Day gift. A bottle of Irish Whisky. Not bad. Very smooth but there is a flavor I can’t quite put my finger on. It will be put into rotation with my other whiskeys.
  8. Funny thing about that prop. About 15 years ago I saw an ad on Craigslist for a work bench for sale for 100 bucks. I needed a workbench and headed straight over with a trailer. This guy had a huge house in Brentwood and made furniture in his spare time. This workbench turned out to be a 10’ long custom made workbench with adjustable wood shelving the entire length. With the workbench came all the jigs, do dads and wedges he used. The gun prop is one the wedges he used when making furniture. I can not imagine what it cost him to have this made but it know it was a lot more than the 100 I paid for it. He just wanted it gone.
  9. Everybody needs at least one.
  10. Thanks. It does not surprise me that you also have a Marlin .44. Didn’t realize they were that rare I just knew I had never seen one in person. Same goes for the 375. That’s why I bought them both. Lol
  11. Picked up a couple lever guns recently. Here is the first one. Looks like a standard Marlin 336 in 30-30 with a ugly scope and see thru rings. First off I took the scope and rings off. I do need to find plugs so the screws don't stick up. The reason this is an oddball is because this model was only made for about 3 years from late '79 till about '83. This is a Marlin 375 in .375 Winchester. You just do not see many of these around anymore. One of the nice things about .375 Winchester is that you can also shoot Buffalo Bore .38-55 in it. The next one is a Marlin 336 but in .44 Mag. I also picked up a Ruger Redhawk in .44 Mag to go with the Marlin.
  12. Awesome history Rob.
  13. I will check out that site. Thanks
  14. So I recently picked up a 1942 Winchester 75. Whoever owned it before me removed the front sight and rear target sight and put weaver bases on the gun. I would like to restore it to original and shoot it with sights. The problem is I am having a hell of a time finding sights for this gun. Everywhere I have checked either does not have them or are out of stock. I have tried Numrich, Midway, Brownells, Gunbroker, Amazon etc. Anybody have any suggestions on where to find the front sight and rear target sight?
  15. Welcome
  16. shut your dirty mouth... I also love my Sig MPX but they are not cheap.
  17. Welcome
  18. I also took my handgun class from Buford. He donated a free class to a Kidney Foundation charity golf tournament as an auction item that I was playing in. He was definitely a character.
  19. They are great to work with.
  20. The top two are both 7.5" 3rd gen Colt SAA in 45 Colt. I like bleed guns but could not pass up the top one. It was just so shiny. The third one down is a USFA in 44 Special. I think it is the best looking of the group. I love the CCH frame. Now I just need to find some real ivory grips to fit it.
