  1. So how do you really feel about Berettas, Comms? :stir:
  2. This, Lump charcoal and wood. Yea it's pain to keep the heat just right, but the taste of pulled pork BBQ done with a spicy rub just can't be beat. Sometimes doing it the hard way is the best way. :woohoo: I use one of these Old Country Smoker Pecos model.
  3. Thanks for the pic's. As for the plastic lids, the dumpster looks full so it should hold their weight. About Glen, he's really between a rock and a hard spot. :2cents:
  4. Yea, were from the Government and were here to help you.    :puke:
  5. Ours did too, there timers will be mess up for a week!
  6.         You just can't make some people happy Bersaguy, I'm not saying the VA doesn't need reform, but anything I can do to show the respect to these returning Vets I will do. If some feel that saying "thanks for your service" or a "salute to service." is not well in tended then so be it.   I'm not looking to start a pissing contest here, it just brings back old feeling from 50 years back that should have died many years ago.   I got to go now, off to Wally World to find a green light bulb. :shhh:
  7. Don't forget to set your clocks back.
  8. Much of the taste has to do with how hungry you are at the time of the tasting :2cents:
  9. First I've heard of it, but I have no problem with a green light on the porch.
  10. Have you ever had the pleasure of eating C rations?
  11. That's what we are trying to work out, a fair price for a used one. I can't find any used ones for sale on the internet. Maybe about $950.
  12. I need some help, a friend is looking to sell his CZ 75B custom shop compact L the gun is in perfect condition and I need some TGO feedback. I have shot a CZ accu-shadow and know they're great shooting guns. But never shot the compact L, any body out there have one, how do you like it, and what's it worth? He lives out of state and trying out the gun is not an option.
  13. I guess I'm missing something.
  14.    The internet is here to stay, look what it's done to Christmas shopping. If the local gun shop wants to charge prices like Gander and Cabela's they better except the fact customers are going to shop Bud's. I try to give my local guys first shot at pricing any gun I'm looking for if they can come pretty close in price , I will buy from them and not go through the hassle of ordering on line. I would rather see the local guy make a few $ and we all walk away happy. But if they try to jack up the FFL fee to make it harder for me I just find another place to spend my money.
  15. I ordered my 3.0 on 10/25 and it shipped on 10/28, received today 10/31
  16. I agree prices are coming down a bit, but still too high and that may be why they have ammo to sell. I hope they choke on it at those prices. I would rather camp out at Wally World then pay a scalpers price Just my :2cents:
  17. So what's new about new about price gouging on .22's? Gun Broker and Guns America have had pages of ad's since this started.
  18. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/manhunt-for-fugitive-accused-of-firing-on-cops-in-2-states/
  19. Is that like they have him surrounded on one side? :hiding:
  20.     Neither is Jon Snow :woohoo:
  21. Sorry to say there is no getting away from it.
  22. But doing it to get elected to public office seams to be OK in the eyes of the elite in Washington.  :puke:
  23. Every time I have to get new plates for the truck I have to show my DD-214 if I want Vietnam Vet plates, not a big deal in my mind, unless someone has something to hide. I don't feel anyone is calling me a liar when they ask to see my DD-214, they just want to make sure I earned the right to display those plates on my truck. I had to give a copy to the Vietnam Vets Post when I joined them.
