Honestly there are a lot of good guns out there right now for $300. Walther PPX-ugly as sin but good value. I owned one and wish I didn't sell it. Someone already mentioned a used M&P. You guys complaining about TN fees have no idea what it's like in other states. When I moved to FL in 2010 it cost $450 to register my Acura. Loudon County TN where I live now is only $30. There is a reason why you see a million rental cars registered in Blount County TN.

I've had a few guys tell me $3ft and then we never heard from them again. We had a guy come out last night and take a look. He charges $3.5/ft which I feel is fair. I'm waiting on an itemized quote.

You need to shop around and see how others compare. Just make sure they have the same coverage levels when giving you a quote. Mine just went up $10/month.

We have been trying for months now to fine someone to install around 1,100 sq ft of wood-look tile in our house. We have reached out to at least 6 different people/companies and been blown off or ignored by all of them. Apparently we are not the only ones having this problem in Knoxville. Anyone have any suggestions? I never thought it would be this difficult to find someone to take my money.

A friend of mine recently left law enforcement but he told me that one year while working on Thanksgiving his supervisor told them during the pre-shift meeting that every officer needed to go out and write at least 3 tickets. My friend said something about that being harsh on Thanksgiving and he almost got fired for it. Every single one of them went out that Thanksgiving morning and wrote 3 tickets. Public safety and all....

This thread has caused me to reconsider my support of the death penalty. Some people definitely deserve to die but not at the hands of a system that continues to lock up innocent people. Its not worth the risk.

Seizing money based solely on suspicion is ridiculous.

I've been seeing things in a different light lately. On Friday I was driving home from work and 3 cop cars from Crossville came up beside me. These guys were 60 miles outside their jurisdiction yet they were doing 15 over the posted speed limit and tailgating (intimidating) every vehicle until they moved out of their way. Imagine if one of us came up behind a cop and rode their ass just to get them to move over.
