  1.   You're wrong about the price. But I agree it looks a little like a Sig.    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=466615264
  2. If I wanted a full size, metal 9mm it would be the CZ75. What a fantastic gun. It's on my short list of guns to buy.   I also like this Lionheart LH9 but it has a rail.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQYdVx7Oofo
  3.   I'm just going by what the guy on GT said. Even if it's beat to hell, $299 is a great price for a Glock. Replace the springs and beat it up another 20 years if you want.
  4. A member on Glocktalk reported that he bought a lightly used police trade in Glock 22 for only $299. Apparently they are selling used gen 4's for only a little bit more.   If anyone is looking for a used Glock this is about the best deal you're going to find.
  5. Awesome! I do like me some Dan Wesson. Let us know how she shoots.
  6. An 8 year old boy was killed by stupidity and a tannerite explosion on Monday. Very sad situation that should not have happened.   http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2015/02/robert-farago/breaking-ok-tannerite-explosion-kills-8-year-old/   http://5newsonline.com/2015/02/08/explosion-in-sequoyah-county-injures-two-people/
  7. Thanks everyone.
  8. Nice! The more time I spend with mine the closer we get. My fiance is concerned...   I had the Ruger out last night and I was pleased with how much the trigger has improved in such a short amount of time. I'm not going to lie, when I bought it the trigger was atrocious.
  9. Thanks guys. I agree that this area probably makes the most sense. Are there still plenty of things to do in this area? Restaurants, Movie theater, etc. Is this a relatively safe area?
  10. That's fair. I didn't care for that aspect either but I thought it was a good episode overall.
  11.   What didn't you like?   A lot of people here continue to complain about the show yet they sit down every Sunday and watch it...
  12. My current employer has a field based position available in the Nashville area that I'm currently interviewing for. Since I will be working from home I can live anywhere in the greater Nashville area. Having only been to Nashville a handful of times I have no idea what areas to avoid.   Assuming I get this position(which is never a guarantee) I'd like a head start on where to look.    I have a customer I would have to visit in Spring Hill about once or twice a month so ideally I'd like to be within a reasonable distance of that area. Also, I hate traffic so I have no desire to actually live in Nashville or any area that is heavily congested.   The other criteria I'm looking for is   -close to an area that has a mall or high density of retail stores. This is so my fiance can find a job(she works at Victoria's Secret and Chili's currently)   -within 30-40 minutes of an outdoor range would be great   -I would have to visit a client in TX for this new position so I'd like it to be within 30-40 minutes of the airport if possible.   -Easy access to I-40 so that going back home to Knoxville is a little easier.    That's all that I can think of at the moment. Looking at the map I think anything on the south side of town would make sense. Thanks!
  13. Did you install an aftermarket barrel?    I've always been curious about 10mm and only had the pleasure of shooting the caliber once. I think it would be fun to hunt with. We have a lot of hogs down here and my buddy takes em down with his GP100 but a 10mm would be just as good I'm sure.
  14. I prefer Pandora over Spotify by a long shot but I use the free versions so my input is probably not helping much.

That's not even a fair comparison. Aside from looks the PPK has absolutely nothing going for it. You will be lucky to find one that isn't a lemon.
  16. I'm a sucker for the ones that are less common. There are only 2500 of these.

The CZ 75 is one of the most iconic pistols every made. It's on my list of guns that I will own someday.    I can't think of a single con honestly.
  19. Like Mac said, I'd go with the GP100 since you don't want a dedicated carry gun. something like this, http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=465250390
  20.   Florida's gun laws are some of the best in the nation and they were the first ones to implement concealed carry. And no, not "a lot" of people have done this. Only a handful of idiots.   The fact that local governing bodies can't supersede state gun law is a GOOD THING. In fact, Florida Carry is currently suing several municipalities for illegal gun laws.   I desperately want to move back to TN but the the volunteer state should take lessons from Florida when it comes to firearms legislation. Florida is hard to beat.
  21. The old ones... At least that's what I hear.   I have no issues with mine but it doesn't even compare to my old Winchester Defender. The difference in quality is pretty obvious to me.
  22. Wyoming continues to impress me. If only they actually had jobs out there for me....or anyone?
  23. Rock Island makes great 1911's. Good choice!
  24. I swear it's not me!
