  1. The t-dub is a tractor, it'll go darn near anywhere slowly.
  2. Last I looked, you can only specifically hunt hogs on private property. There is no "hog season" anymore. If you see one while deer hunting (during deer season) you can shoot it.
  3. I'd save the hotel points and stay in a campground.
  4. Good bikes and very upgradeable. Lots of aftermarket. Another XT225, sweet! Mine's an '07. Everyone needs at least 6 motorcycles... A trials bike, MX bike, street legal woods bike, sporty street bike, touring bike, and a track bike.
  5. Advrider.com Hang onto your hat.... It's a huuuge forum, this will get you a little closer to home..... https://www.advrider.com/f/forums/southeast-the-lair-of-the-dragon-the-blue-ridge.63/
  6. That's a fair point I hadn't thought about until now. The term "vaccine" could be considered a misnomer in this case. It's more a targeted immune system booster than a vaccine as we think of the typical childhood vaccines.
  7. This one is lost to parenthood, but I still miss it.... But I succumbed to the dirty side and find that quite enjoyable on the rare occasions I actually get to play in the dirt.
  8. Not locked? Few people are stupid enough to steal a police car. Would you really want a cop fumbling with keys if they had to be somewhere in a hurry? Not a threat? More people are killed by cars than guns. He already initiated a wrestling match with a cop. He's in a police car that probably has a rifle and/or shotgun inside. He could easily impersonate an officer for nefarious purposes if he got away.
  9. I don't know of any either.
  10. Sorry to hear that, terrible situation for a young family.
  11. A bunch of Legos and Testors plastic models that my kids play with now. This was my high school ride. Yeah, I was that kid. And no, there were never any shenanigans in the back. No one would get close enough....
  12. Sociopathy is a mental illness.
  13. If calling for help in an emergency is your goal, just get a satellite locator beacon. They're easy and cheap. If you want to dive into the radio rabbit hole, and it's a quite a cavern, get a radio.
  14. My youngest was fine 3 days after first symptoms, minor as they were. It took another 3 days for him to test negative so he can play basketball this weekend.
  15. I walked into taco bell for the first time in ages. A single crunchy taco is $2.69. They were $0.49 when I was in college.
  16. Even better if those were linked.
  17. To catch people doing something wrong.
  18. Agency radio frequency info.... https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?stid=47
  19. In that case, one of the hand held radios should work fine. I have a Baofeng radio. It's capable of transmitting but I don't have a license. In the event of an emergency, I have no hesitation to transmit without a license. They can fine me if they like (I doubt they would) it'd be better than being dead. But also understand that the radio won't work down in the hollers unless there's a repeater tower close by.
  20. Didn't happen when my roof was replaced a few years ago. But getting dropped is pretty common. Insurance companies have learned that they can't afford to insure a large percentage of people in any one area. If a big storm blows through, they need to minimize the impact to their bottom line. All-State insurance learned this the hard way in 1992 with hurricane Andrew. It wiped out central Florida and All-State insured a lot of those people. I worked for Sears, who owned All-State then. I recall the meeting with the regional manager saying that was the first time ever that Sears was going to post a loss for the year. Sears never recovered.
  21. Didn't know they'd added a pistol range. Nice sporting clays area.
  22. Welcome. I grew up in Chattanooga.
  23. The only place I can think of that might allow steel is ORSA.
