Arthritis is certainly a possibility but what you describe sounds more like nerve inflammation pain to me.

Warning-Graphic Picture of my Stupidity
peejman replied to Defender's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
You might first try just an off-road only dirt bike in that case. Windrock and Royal Blue aren't that far away. Ease in and see how she takes that. When I finished school and got my first job, a wise man told me to make sure I got a bike before I got married (i was engaged), and then never go bikeless. If I wanted something different, get it first, then sell what I had. That's worked out pretty well. -

"Reasonably foreseeable misuse" is not a new concept for our legal system. Its been in play for many years in industrial accident litigation where people intentionally or unintentionally bypassed safety systems and got hurt. -

Just your typical bug out bag. He might make it to the stop sign before dumping half of it.

I do beer can chicken pretty often. I use the mini coke cans we get for the kids. I pull one out of the recycle bin and fill it about half full of beer. I sit the chicken upright in an aluminum pie pan and sit that on the grill. I find that sits there just fine, no need for those pricey stands. I would like to get a rotisserie.

There was a lady who hung out in our church parking lot for a couple weeks. The staff offered assistance and she declined saying begging was her job and she was making $300-$400/wk just sitting there. Her brother dropped her off and picked her up every day. She's since moved to another location.

Ground power gas turbines are generally used for peak power only. They use way too much fuel for base load work and then consume a fair amount of power when not producing. So a base load of solar/wind/hydro with gas turbines for really hot afternoons or really cold nights is a solution.

Very little transportation of spent fuel has actually happened. Last I was told, TVA has sent zero spent fuel anywhere. It's all stored on site and they don't expect to run out of space for a while. Our problems with nuclear power are mostly related to the antiquated design of pressurized water reactors. They're huge, complex, use low density fuel, and make a lot of waste compared to newer ideas. Government efficiency is hard at work streamlining the design approval process.

There's no such thing as too much power, only not enough traction. But seriously, it's all in the connection between your brain and right hand. I've seen people start out on 1000cc sport bikes and do just fine. I've seen people pile in on a 125 during the MSF course. It takes all kinds. My XT gets 75-80 mpg. It uses the same amount of gas in a week as my SUV does in a day. I have a hitch hauler and it's handy. Though if Tellico is your destination and that CRF is what you want, just ride it there. And yeah, splashing in the puddles is the fun part....
