I thought they were both funny.

My EDC has shrunk over time to keep me from getting lazy and ever leaving home without one. I get to upgrade to a full size around the house, which is nice.

so, how does the sore looser know where to send the police, but the police can't tell where the phoney call comes from

Hardee's is the only place I know of that has better biscuits than the frozen Pilsbury ones.

That's where I saw it too, but curiosity got the best of me and I had to know. ...and you're right, some fence-sitter who owns a Glock, but is skeered of guns will think this is brilliant and buy it.
-
I'm sure the most troubling thing on the minds of Glock owners everywhere is how terribly unsafe their weapons are. Lucky for us all, a company called Safe-Draw has come to the rescue. They've invented a device sure to save thousands of lives and overcome the design flaw inherent in all Glocks. Quick installation: Increases pull on first shot, has no effect on subsequent shots: http://safe-draw.com/pages/how-it-works This revolutionary plastic wedge increases trigger pull to 11.5# on first pull. Subsequent pulls are uneffected by the device, reverting the gun back to it's naturally unsafe condition. Just put a few of these "uppers" in your pocket when you leave the house in case you encounter multiple shooting scenarios in a single outing, because these are a one-time use device only. This means once you slay that gang of ruffians, you have to reinstall a new gizmo before holster to prevent shooting yourself in the butt. I wonder if it's too late to get in on the IPO?

Plan to be there when they open Saturday, if all goes well.

I love this idea! -
It is funny how things like one's taste in music can change over time.
BigK replied to mav's topic in General Chat
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with multiple personality disorders when it comes to taste in music. I can go from Miranda Lambert to AC/DC to BB King to Paul Simon to Godsmack within a 45 minute drive to work OR other times I get hooked on a genre for a week or more at a time. The only music I cannot listen to is top 40 pop music and opera. But, I can listen to some Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys ANY time!! -
The owner of the company I work for asked me to make a couple of holsters for some relatives this past Christmas. I quoted him $50 a piece for the holsters and he was thrilled. When he finally got back to me with the make/model of guns to make them for, one was a Lorcin L380 and the other was a Jennings J-22.

408 Sam Ridley Pkwy Smyrna, TN 37167 Phone: (615) 220-9381 http://razzrestaurants.com/ Check out his video from when he was on Food Network. He's a colorful guy and very likeable.

I guess I assumed the TGO Razz is the same Razz that owns the restaurant. If not, I made quite a fool of myself Saturday when I introduced myself as BigK from TGO. If so, at least he was nice enough to smile and nod his head like he knew what I meant. LOL

What he's got may be a compulsion, but it's not a problem, LOL. I have the following: CZ P-01 CZ 97 BD CZ 75 Shadow CZ 75 SP-01 Phantom CZ 82 I haven't tried any of the clones yet, but there's several I like. I'm still hoping to add a reasonably priced PCR or 75 Compact with a decocker and a RAMI to my short list.

I've been really happy with this one: http://www.gumcreekcustoms.com/Vehicle-Handgun-Mount-p8.html

I have my go-to guns as well. You know, the ones you'd reach for in a pinch, because they never let me down. They are my favorites and get the most use. That being said, I have a lot more benchwarmers that I only take out when I'm in the mood. I like them too, but they'd be the first ones to go, if times got hard. Until then, I like the idea of holding onto them better than I like the idea of having the money they might be worth. Besides,if I had the money instead of the guns I'd probably just waste it on dumb stuff like bullets for my better guns. LOL

Had a neighbor once who told me he was half coon-ass half crawfish.
Will have to hit that place up. I've been going to Bro's Cajun in Nashville. Darn good food.
Bro's is awful good too. I love their red beans and rice. I went there once last summer and they were grilling squash and zucchini on a little charcoal grill on the porch. It was so good, I think I had 3 or 4 orders of it and took my red beans and rice to go.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll give it a try sometime. Steamboat Bill's in Hendersonville isn't bad eating either. If your real serious about it, I can also recommend the original Steamboat Bill's in Lake Charles, LA.
You're the 2nd person that's told me about this place. A guy at work says it's real good too. I'm gonna have to look this place up next time I'm up that way. Thanks

I feel ya, dude. I have a love-hate relationship with cajun food too. I LOVE the way it tastes and HATE when my bowl is empty.

I wanted a LCP back when the little .380's were so popular. I had gotten my wife a Bersa Thunder .380, though and had a devil of a time finding ammo. So, I got the P32 instead and haven't been disappointed. I've been carrying it as a back up for almost 6 years. As much as I love it, I still have always wanted an LCP too.

I used to do a lot of fishing below the bridge in Walter Hill at the dam. Haven't been in about 20 yrs, though.

On the lighter side - how NOT to fish with a hand grenades

I can't believe the boat was still intact. -
I absolutely love me some cajun and creole food. So, I'm always on the lookout for some good jambalaya, etouffee, gumbo, and red beans & rice. I tried Razz'z in Smyrna this evening and all I can say is dayuuum! He's got this plate called the Tour of New Orleans that comes with Jambalya, Étouffée, and Gumbo with garlic bread. The jambalaya was spot-on. The étouffée was the best I ever put in my mouth. I think I make a mean pot of gumbo, but his puts mine to shame. How many places do you go nowadays where the owner/chef himself greets you at the door and says hi? Plus, he's a TGO forum member!

Kudos for interlocking fields of fire!!

I love grits so much I'll even eat the instant ones. I like a slice of cheese on top of the bowl of well salted and peppered grits with 2 fried eggs on top. That's the breakfast of champions, IMHO. you gotta tell me the name of this place! grits casserole sounds so good!!!
