1. Pennies taped to a paper plate and a .22 rifle are fun, plus they have something to take home with them that they shot.
2. I'd call it half setup, half sting. I am surprised it didn't get ruled entrapment, but this lawyer was undeniably a willing buyer.
3. Sometimes the late night infomercials stumble upon something awesome. As a huge fan of breakfast food, what's not to love about the Bacon Bowl? http://www.asseenontvhot10.com/product/31365/Perfect-Bacon-Bowl/?gclid=CI35k5CxsL0CFchFMgod8WYAvA#.UzLgf41OWpo
4.   I think you should get a Magpul stock and forend. I'll take the factory stock and forend off your hands. You know, to save you some storage space and all.
5.
Glad I'm not the only person that feels like they are treated like some kind of off their meds extremist for having this view. Guys like this FUDD are a gun owners worst enemy. Regardless of what this guy thinks he does not represent me, he is not on my side. He's nothing but an anti wearing camo and spouting an anti message.
I am of the opinion that people with opinions like his clearly have too much unwarranted faith in the federal gov't. I, for one, would sleep better at night knowing everyone on my block owned an M-16 (not just an AR-15) and kept it loaded than I would if only the military/LEO could have them.
6.
I have that exact conversation quite often, BigK. About half the time the only response is a blank stare... sometimes a dropped jaw.
That dumb-struck look is what makes me the most frustrated. They apparently do not realize that overthrowing a corrupt and out of control gov't is exactly what we did to win our Independence from England. With that fresh in their minds our Framers insisted that our new gov't would not have the power to deny citizens the means to do so again.
7. Dolomite, that is a damn fine looking pooch ya got there. Love the markings and the socks. He's a handsome fellow, despite the hat.
8. I cut those stupid drawstrings off all my jackets too, but like CHL said, a shirt tail can cause the same issue.   I'm sure you all noticed at the end of the video that even though the chief admitted it was operator error and the cause was clearly pointed out, they still called Glock for a comment. What do you say if you're a Glock spokesperson? It's not their fault. They don't call Ford for a comment when an F-150 owner crashes their truck due to negligence!
9. People call me crazy when I tell them 2A really means I should be able to have a tank, grenades, machine guns, and an armed Apache helicopter if I can afford it, since the gov't has them and I may be called upon to help overthrow them.
10. zzzzz
11. One less a$$hole in the world.
12.   I've got a 10 yr old American Bulldog, who is the love of my life. I can only count on one hand the number of humans I love as much as I love her. As Sour Kraut says, they make awesome pets. They are so gentle, especially with kids and loving to a fault. Mine got up to 100 lbs at her fittest/most muscular point when she was young and she still thought she was a lap dog. Absolutely precious animals.   Not sure how much you know about AB's but they are very athletic dogs. I think you'll be very happy with him as a jogging partner. I never tried jogging with my AB, because I am predisposed with a genetic condition that renders me incapable of jogging. My father referred to it as Fatguyitis, but I've also heard the condition called Lazyassitis.
13. I hate to hear some others had issues with their TFO's. I ran them on a Gen 4 Glock 17 for a couple of years and loved them. They survived multiple handgun classes like a champ.   If they made TFOs for CZs, I'd buy a set for every single one of my handguns.

HCP renewal

you only need the letter if your permit expires until then it is valid on its own   applying for a renewal does not invalidate your existing permit       (2) explains the circumstances under which you may be required to display the receipt.
15. +1    I've seen a raccoon whoop the crap out of a healthy full grown black lab   I wonder if this JR didn't get a mouthful of tail as the coon was going under/through a fence? either way, it's funny to think about that coon running around with no tail and that lil guy chewing on it on your carport.
16. I ain't saying it's right, but getting picked on or teased or bullied is part of growing up. I was the kid with cheap ass ghetto sneakers in elementary school. I got teased for it and it sucked, but there was nothing I could do about it. My parents couldn't afford better. I didn't exacerbate the situation by borrowing my little sister's pink socks.
17. As a parent, when my kids were that young, I felt it was my responsibility to protect my kids from things. That includes their own bad decisions. No way I'd buy my 9 yr old son a My Little Pony backpack for school. Maybe that's mean, but I'm a pragmatist.   Admitting there is such a thing as a "trigger for bullying" is progress in my opinion. Come on, didn't we all grow up knowing how to minimize/avoid certain things?
18. http://wtvr.com/2014/03/17/my-little-pony-backpack-ban/   So this VA school calls the My Little Pony backpack this 9 yr old boy carries to school a trigger for bullying. What's next?
19. If I went to a gun show and saw .22 ammo for sale with a sign that said 'reserved for <some group of people>' I'd be asking how to become part of that group and thank that vendor for taking care of his supporters.   What happens at these ammo counters in the backs of stores is not the same thing.
20. one of the more moving videos I've seen in a while   makes me very very proud of those runners who came over to thank him and shake his hand, we need more of THEM too
21. wife liked it, thanks
22. Between Sandy Hook and neighboring Newtown there is barely 40K people there and the avg income is below $45K. This is NOT a thriving metropolis. The crime rates are low to non-existent. What kind of experience with shootings do you really believe this coroner had?
23. I don't trust the gov't explicitly either, but I blame the media for the majority of the conspiracy theorists beliefs. In a rush to be the first to release "facts", they said all kinds of stupid things. People hear this crap on TV and run with it, then when more crap comes out, it gets stirred into the mix. When the earlies official statements come out and they contradicts any of the media's crap, it's suddenly viewed as cover-up and conspiracy. These early statements are rushed, because they "have to tell the public something" and they aren't always accurate. So, by the time a full investigation is finished, the loonies feel like the last set of facts are lies, since they don't mesh with the early "evidence" they heard. I can't believe there's not a national shortage of tinfoil every time something this bad happens.
24.   I'm sure Marty felt threatened, but he was jaywalking and impeding the flow of traffic. Since I didn't see any Skittle or Watermelon Iced Tea, I'm betting he's probably one of those "Occupy Snowmobile Path" protestors I've been hearing about.
25.   If I were a quality magazine manufacturer, who also wants to make my products affordable, I would know what the optimal tolerance range is for my springs. Let's say that to get acceptible pressure against the follower and still come in under cost, the spring I use has to be 7" or more in length. I would also know that after reasonable use the quality of the spring I use in my magazines may compress by 1". Therefore, I would use springs with an initial length greater than 8" to ensure that after initial settling my spring was still longer than 7".
