  1. I agree with Oh Shoot .   I got a letter with it when I bought it that said it was legal to own and did not make the pistol an SBR . They told some other guy that what he was doing was wrong and they only sent him the letter not me .   Mine has not been recalled , marked as illegal to own or install on my pistol . I shoot in my yard when I feel like , and that is not too often . How I shoot it ,hold it ,or anything else is my business and until they start rounding the braces up or putting people in jail it is all hear say .  I don't believe anything I hear and only about half of what I see .
  2. I use Polish Beryl magazines (high also)  in a Polish Tantal that I built with a modified E German Weiger barrel. The Weiger will require modification to work and are high as already stated. I did buy one Pro Mag and it works but I am not wild about them.
  3. What proof is there that the letter is an official letter. I have no proof that this letter is real . I do have a copy of a letter by a company who sells the product that says it is OK .   This could be someone just doing an early April fools joke . But I always said as soon as I buy one they will change everything . I bought 2 and a Slide Fire . I guess that will be next .
  4.  Just remember that just because it shoots a shotgun shell does not make it a shotgun. The pistol grip only ones are not classified as a shotgun but as firearm or other or something like that but they are not called a "shotgun" . I was told that it must not come with a stock like the combo units or ever had a stock installed and must have came as a PGO or Pistol Grip Only model . Not being a " Shotgun" means the 18" rule does not apply .    That is why the 26" overall comes into play so that it is not an AOW . If you go with the 14" Shockwave grip method , I think you will also have to move the barrel mounting lug . That is one reason people buy the factory 14" barrel .   Shock wave did have a parts list but I am not seeing it on there site now .
  5. I would like to see them produce a single stack in 9 mm and one in 10 mm . Modify the 36 and make a 10 mm . The single stack 9 mm in my opinion is long over due.    From a collecting point of view , I also would like to see  the 380's model 25 and 28 offered here by simply making them in the US. How hard could it be to make a run of them in  the US and that avoids all the import rules. I wouldn't be running out and standing in line to get one and It would probably not be a big seller but I would like to see them offered here .      Of coarse I had no interest in the last 2 new Glocks and have ended up with them both . I got a deal I could not pass up on a 42 and bought a 41 last week .
  6. I have just started converting some 308 brass . I fired 11 today for my test batch. Slow going but it works . I am not maching these down but running them a couple of Lee bullet sizers instead .
  7. Arsenal Bulgarian SLR 95 is a great one with a milled receiver . I bought one new , sold it , but was lucky enough to buy it back a few years ago. I also have a Mak 90 from that time period . Both shoot great .
  8. mine does the same thing. there is like a video box and after you watch the video the words appear .
  9. New to AR's and bought a pistol kit the other day . They threw in an Anderson lower for 50.00 so I bought it as well. It all went together without any problems and runs fine . No complaints here. I would buy another one.
  10. I have several of the older ones and they feel much better than the new ones . I looked at some of the new ones and the quality ,fit and finish does not seem to be the same .Keep in mind that the company changed hands and the new ones now are said to be better than the ones from a few years ago.     The last time I went to Gun Brokers and looked , it was all the JM stamped 45- 70 rifles had bids and none of the new ones even had a bid . That was several weeks ago and may have changed by now . Prices normally seem to be higher on the JM stamped guns in nice shape and often bring more than new , Remington made Marlins.   I have a JM stamped 1895G in 45-70 and have seen several like it bring over 700.00 on GB . There must be some reason so many of them bring top dollar. One or two selling for too much you can always say it is just an idiot with too much money that doesn't want to be outbid . But it is not uncommon to see them actually sell for that much.    Check the pawn shops and you can pick one up in a 30-30 for less than 300.00 and probably have a better gun in the long run. I have bought several in 35 Remington for around 250.00 But already had some in 30-30 so I never paid much attention to them . For plinking 30-30 would probably be best on ammo price and availability.
  11. I really like this one and it was the one that gave me an idea on getting rid of the " Hot Dog bun " forearm. I have to say for now the mini Draco is my favorite AK . The brace has made all the difference in the world to me as well. With the folding mechanism it is perfect . This is what I wanted , so No SBR for me , for now anyway .  Thanks for the info and help .

    Glock42

I had no desire to buy a 42 but being a Glock fan , I had said if a really great deal came up that I might buy one just to add to the collection . That deal came up the other day and it is the one with the updates . After buying the Glock and then selling my Smith 380 Sigma ( almost identical in size ) I had to put 50.00 with what I got from the Smith. The Sigma sat in the safe most of the time as the Glock will probably do the same but it was the deal I could live with and I added to my Glock collection.  I have all I need now but a good deal is hard to pass up. In terms of value I feel I am better off with the Gock over the old SW380 Smith ,     I still want a single stack 9mm in a Glock and will keep waiting for it.
  13. I think I have some old lead type bullets and balls ,  but I will have to look . I also have a bunch of speedy loaders for the 45. P.M me if interested
  14. I have several conversion and 1 extended / ported for my 10 mm full size and no problems with any of them . Great product at a fair price.
  15. I really like the way yours has turned out . I put one of these in layaway yesterday and had a forearm until a few weeks ago . I always get rid of something right before I need it. Now I need to find another used Saiga forearm .
  16. I agree with JohnC and also  think the entire NFA is unconstitutional and should be abolished.
  17. Has the ATF ever ruled that you can make the Sig Brace fold ? Because they said it is not a  a STOCK , it might be OK but I am not sure that a folding BRACE might get into a gray area .     I saw where , I think CNC was going to produce some but can't find that is has been approved to make them fold.  It would be nice for my M92 but I would like to see an approval letter if one is out there .
  18. what is the material the stock is made of ? I am guessing composite or zytel by the nut inserts you used . I picked my stain up today .
  19. I just bought a M92 last weekend and it is going to be my first NFA project .I hope mine turns out as nice as yours did. mind if I ask , what stock and folding mechanism did you use ? I have been looking at the Stormwerkz folding unit and a Manticore Arms triangle Stock. I also like the red on the wood .

    Need SKS help

I think the only time the trigger group has to be removed is to take out the original box magazine. I modified mine so the magazine gan be changed with the bolt closed . however , I still use the factory magazine begause the do work better. I have had some of the others that worked very good and some that were terrible.
  21. I looked for a long time before getting any , and then they we bought for me by a friend on vacation in Florida . They were some what  popular years ago but not very common now. Not sure why , I would still buy some more if I found them .
  22. Any luck getting in contact with them ? I have an NEF handi rifle that I am thinking of buying a barrel for. Not sure as to what kind of fitting problems one could get into with a used barrel.
  23. I don't see him going back across the waters. They have been questioning him again on the mess he was in when he left to come here . Can't stand him , glad he is gone but I still will not be watching CNN .
  24. I stuck mine when using the spay on lube ( one shot , Hornady ? don't remember ) and was spraying directly on the brass. Went to Imperial sizing wax and have had no more problems .
