  1. Is this thread setting the record for most zombie resurrections?
  2. With Kirsten Dunst in it, you can bet it will be a 2-ton boulder of agenda hitting you over the head.
  3. Assuming they're all "normal" firearms then you just pack them up and bring them home. Straight from the horse's mouth, which is the other end from where they've been speaking lately: https://www.atf.gov/firearms/qa/whom-may-unlicensed-person-transfer-firearms-under-gca The exception to that would be if the inheritance includes any National Firearms Act (NFA) items. Those would be suppressors (aka "silencers"), full-auto guns, short barreled rifles, and short barreled shotguns. There are a few other oddball things too that would fall under "destructive devices" and the purview of the NFA rules. Those still need to go through a transfer plus a $200 tax stamp unless your benefactor had them in a trust and you and/or your siblings were named on the trust as trustees.
  4. If you're not in a hurry and the Browning in Collierville doesn't work out (if it was in Nashville I'd have already bought that one ) , keep a watch on Craigslist, FB Marketplace, and estate sales (I use EstateSales.net for that one). You'll find quality name brand safes for way less than new. It may take a few weeks/months for one to show up that you like at a price you like in a location you like, but it will.
  5. Looks like US-129 (Tail of the Dragon) on most weekends . . . tour bus and RV included.
  6. My understanding is the pickins are slim, if any at all. It would be best to call before making the drive.
  7. Assuming your son is also a TN resident, nothing at all. If he's in another state, the gun has to transfer through an FFL in his state.
  8. I running fan theory is that he's a mob boss.
  9. $170 after rebate for a Winchester pump 12 ga. 28" bbl. https://grabagun.com/sale/win-spr-x-pmp-12-28-3-bl-syn-3ct.html
  10. Some of the employees need that supervision. I saw some pretty unsafe stuff going on the one and only time I stopped in to check it out. I don't need any extra holes in me so I won't be going back, which is a shame because the setup looks cool and my work is just 5 minutes away.
  11. That's the new one replacing the randomly assigned one with the unfortunate letter/number pattern.
  12. But did you have Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, Burgertime, and the Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt combo on top of it?
  13. It should read: This is trash This is coke This is Coke
  14. It's Wisconsin and they forgot "Cheese" . . . . SMH
  15. Same here. There could be something in the rest of the ramblings that could help identify what she was doing leading up to the attack that could have caused her to be caught, and that would be useful to know for future prevention. Or she could have been expressing a feeling similar to what most of us felt the first time we did our Wally-Walk after getting a permit (or now permitless). You're SURE someone is going to spot your gun . . . but they never do.
  16. Boss Hogg was brilliant. My favorite was how he'd award the contract for pouring the city sidewalks to his own concrete company with a 12-month guarantee. He'd have them poured with dynamite inside and the day after the guarantee expired he'd blow them up and award himself the contract to repair them.
  17. I have a Kahr PM9. I wouldn't call the trigger heavy at all. "Long", yes. But not heavy. It definitely takes some practice and conscious effort to release it far enough between shots.
  18. For the record, that solar eclipse sucked. I was in Utah for it right along the full path. It was nothing like a total eclipse. We traveled out there for fall break to do the 5 National Parks. The fact that the eclipse happened at the end of the trip was just a bonus. We didn't plan for it. But if we had and built our whole trip around it and traveled out into the middle of nowhere on BLM or NPS land , I'd be more than a little disappointed.
  19. It's a Class B misdemeanor. Fine up to $500. No loss of permit or gun any longer. https://law.justia.com/codes/tennessee/2021/title-39/chapter-17/part-13/section-39-17-1359/
  20. I keep seeing their ads pop up on my various social media platforms. It seems similar to most other belly band products but is not gun model specific (no molded Kydex). I like that it's not model specific and that it attaches to me, not my clothing, but I don't know how comfortable something like this would be all day every day. https://vnsh.com/products/vnsh-holster Has anyone tried this one or something very similar? What do you think about it?
  21. ^^ this. We saw it in every country where the economy collapsed either from bad government (Venezuela) or from war (former Yugoslavia). Reading the real-life account from Selco of what that was like will make you rethink your supplies. Keeping some "smalls" around (cheap pocket knives, Bic lighters, etc.) for trading seems a better idea than gold and junk silver. Practical knowledge and skills are king.
  22. Good thing he did that flatbed mod. There's no way he'd have fit three whole CASES of bottled water and all those boxes of diapers in the original mini van.
