Right now the cash option is $930,000,000. I could retire on that.

Springfield Range Officer Champion 9mm. Score!!!

Get a double stack 1911 and screw the poly frames!!! Or, try a XD45. They're pretty reasonably priced and hold 13 rounds. My XD has the best striker trigger, other than the VP9, I've ever felt.

That Elite Match looks really nice.

One of the main reasons for the price of vehicles from the Big 3 is paying the health benefits for their retired UAW employees. Those costs added $2500 to the cost of every vehicle sold 10 years ago. With the rise in healthcare premiums, I'm sure it's much more than that today. Why do you think you see so many Kias and Hyundais on the road today? They're affordable. I'll never lease a vehicle. Oh, my old Ranger had 408K miles on it when I sold it for $500. Never used a drop of oil either.

The Hermitage store had 325 round boxes of Federal for $16.97 limit of 3 last weekend.

Assault Weapons Ban Before U.S. Supreme Court

This is an example of a New York AR. I don't know all of the restrictions, but some are pretty obvious. -
Another vote for a Springfield XD. The trigger on mine is really sweet, but a long reset.

This man is in Mt. Juliet. I haven't used him, but he's got a great reputation on 1911 forum.com. /http://www.severnscustom.com/

I don't like stainless steel 1911s, but to each his own. I'd consider one of these too. What's your budget? -
I'd rather have this real smoker, which is cheaper, than an electric smoker. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Oklahoma-Joe-s-Highland-Smoker-Grill-Black/33605961

I'd add these two Mexican restaurants to the discussion. El Comal on the north side and Los Compadres on Lebanon Pike. Margarita House has cheaper pitcher prices. Thursday nights at Cinco De Mayo pitchers are $4.99.

I rented a Walther PPQ at Nashville Armory. Most gun shops list their rentals on their websites. Good luck and have fun.

Martin has a Hampton Inn. Mckenzie has Best Western.

Just use some regular charcoal. After your fire gets going, throw some more pieces on your fire. It will smoke and add that delicious flavor to whatever you're cooking.

There's 13 videos in this series of building your 1911 from scratch. Most videos are very long (hour or more). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vvr1DpUZeng&list=PLb_WmE72gAaasE40KWqJOLZujpkPx5Thu

There are several YouTube videos on the process. You might want to start there.

Impact Sport hearing protection opinions?
JPR1959 replied to maroonandwhite's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I have those, and they don't necessarily seal around your ears great like Mike said. I always use another set of earplugs anyway. -
I was thinking of high strength epoxy to hold 3/8" rods sunk 3-4" into concrete. We used epoxy to hold bolts that supported 13,000 pound machines. I didn't think of a pickup truck trying to pull a safe out of my garage. That would cause a ruckus in my neighborhood. Truck would probably win though. I wouldn't put a safe in my garage anyway, but that's for enlightening me.

I was told by several safe manufacturers at the NRA show to put hockey pucks under the safe to keep the bottom from rusting out. If you anchor your safe to the floor per manufacturer's instructions, I don't see how many people would be able to get your safe out of your garage. Cutting through thick threaded rods would be awfully noisy and very difficult.

Isn't paying your student loans on time building credit??? I can't believe no one has stated that. If you buy things with a debit card, you are establishing a line of credit. Having a job and a bank account establishes credit. I would not start using cards to build up credit. If you need new tires or appliances, then used their same as cash credit card and pay it off on time or sooner. Statistics show you'll buy 18% more if you pay with a credit card. If you pay cash, it hurts more.

Brownells has almost everything you'll need. Put in a good aftermarket trigger kit or modify the stock one and you'll be good to go.

I wish Sam's, or Costco, would build a store in Mt. Juliet. I hate going to Hendersonville cause my Klondike bars melt!!! :yum:
