Well I am back home. I will say this, people in Springhill seem very polite and drivers are not crazy. Walking though a parking lot cars stopped and waited for you to cross in front instead of speeding up to beat you across. At sonic I had just got my order and was about to leave I pulled up to the road and the read light had just changed and cars quickly backed up to the Sonic exit (Thursday night) and a white sheriff car stopped about 30 feet back to make a hole in traffic for me to get out. My experience with other drivers suggests they would have done the same. One guy in a group no me, made a left in traffic and told me he thought there was a merge line in the center and ended up going the wrong way for a moment and other cars made a hole for him to get in and such. Everyone we walked to in stores was very nice. It seems on average to be nicer people then Oak Ridge.

I own the 870 12ga Express I believe 18.5 barrel, no choke what so ever. Cylinder bore. In theory, you will hit everything in a hallway in the middle of the night with it. I believe it is 6 plus 1. The tube is the same length give or take maybe a half inch of the barrel It handles 2.5 and 3 inch shells. The super Magnum is going to handle 3inch and 3.5 inch shells The tactical, well it is just Tacticool and will cost you an extra 100 bucks for that extra cool factor. I don't know about the police models, back when I brought mine I looked them up but don't recall. I do know you can buy and change the barrels and a ton of other accessories. If you decide to change barrels, keep the same chamber size as the reset of the gun (receiver is designed for). I read a story where a guy has the express 2.5 and 3 inch chamber decided to put a super magnum barrel on it. I believe he said well it worked if you didn't mine loading each round as the receiver did not handle 3.5 in shells. I hope that makes sense. I got my wife 20ga 870 so that all the controls would be in the exact same place so she could use either with the same muscle memory. Myself I like the location of the safety on the 870 perfect for the trigger finger to hit while going to the trigger. (same as my hunting rifle). I did look at some Mossberg but I didn't like the safety on top. I found it funny that some of their cheaper models had the same closer to the trigger though. To me, the hammer belongs on top, not the safety, but I am sure some will disagree and that is OK too.

Local GS just told me recently they had 5 PMR 30's and they sold them at retail, 375. Another shop told me they had recently had 2 and they had heard production was up. I want a second one but waiting until I can get it at retail.

Past 2 days, heading home today. Found a small gun shop called the Armory. Seemed to have reasonable prices on what I looked at but I wasn't in to look for a gun but was hoping for an extra mag for my Colt Defender. Some how I left home with only 1 mag. My bad.

I am going to steal this for Facebook and change it to TN instead of AZ.

emergency heat can also be gas. I know I looked at one a few years ago that was going to use gas as the back up. I didn't get that model though.

Anything to do in Springhill? Appears I have to go there for 2 nights. Looked up and found places to eat, maybe a self guided battleground tour but looks like a sleepy little place. Appears I might just have to catch up on my MineCraft.

when I had my central heat/ac installed the guy saw I used wood heat and he told me to turn the fan on and just circulate the air, filter it and balance the house out. Said it would cause no harm. I hadn't wanted to say but I had been doing that on the previous system. It was replaced due to age and the AC had quite. My house is only 1,000 sq foot, I don't exactly feel heat coming though those vents from it, but it does filter the air and help keep hot and cold spots down.

I prefer tassimo, however Keurig does make fine coffee as well Tassimo Can make some things Keurig cannot, but the Keurig does allow you to buy empty cups and put your own coffee in. So both have advantages over the other.

Yup, hard to see how a firearms company is doing bad right now. Sales have been up over the past couple years. Sure that was a surge but I am sure they are still near normal levels. Also as said above, make .22 ammo since it is out of stock in most places still. Kinda like a bar losing money selling beer. It is kinda hard to do.

I will not go see it. I watched the first one and really hated it. I guess I just can't stand completely stupid humor or completely stupid.

I just gave up on our KFC here in Oak Ridge. I am more frustrated trying to order food there. The other day I thought I would go there for Lunch. Got in Drive though 2 in front of me me, after 5 plus minutes they haven't even ordered. I drive around and go in. 1 person in front of me. after 5 plus minutes they haven't even ordered. I leave, drive across the road to Zaxby's, drive though and as I am leaving Zaxby's the truck that had been in front of me at KFC is just leaving the drive though. *this was just the last straw* not my first issue.

From Ferguson to the U.N. ... "appeal for global intervention"

Someone had some political pull to get them to the UN. They went all the way to Switzerland before there is even a grand jury verdict. However Channon Christian and Chris Newsom case did not get any where near the attention it deserved. Where was the riots and outage then? -
Depends, if you buy it, will you or family have to cut another corner or not do something else? How long will it take you to squirrel away that MAD money? Most things I consider for a few months before I jump in.

Wow, I have watched the casting process, not on engines but enough to understand what McGarrett is saying saying. There are just allot of places you don't want sand and that would certainly be one of them. I could image allot of people not doing what McGarrett said with the filters and the left over sand causing many problems down the road. Also not an expert but I would image that an engine that had been run with that sand just floating around in the coolant for year would probably be beyond just filtering it out to fix.

and that is why I am only tempted.

I am very glad he is home.

Really? I have been tempted to buy a bag and leave on the break room table at work.

Maybe you have hit their site so much you got Redirected to an NSA sandbox for further study. :D That or website updates.

Maybe they should come up with something new. Perhaps their own version of a PMR 30. Maybe a Magnum built on the design of the 22 Ruger mark 1,2, 3 series. Maybe they need to hire me as an idea man. BTW remember this thread if they come out with that.
