  1. I'm gonna get these younguns in bed and go to sleep and get up and go hunting.
  2. We're all on tamiflu here. Kids are coughing and hacking, I think we caught it early enough that hopefully I won't get too much worse. Hard to sleep with sickly 3yo, 2yo, and 8 week old I know that. My wife's wore out and she's sick too. She and I have it pretty mild right now. Poor baby can't take nothing other than milking. Mama did stash a little colostrum away in the freezer so lil bit got a dose of that. Least I ain't "multi-tasking." Last time I had that I told my wife I was just gonna sit in the bath tub with the shower running and let it ride and we'd just bleach it out afterwards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. If the gaskets leaking I wouldn't really consider it reusable at that point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yes. The best blinds will almost always have someone in them. The worst never. Best strategy is to pull up before dark, shine a light, and if no one is in it wait til close to shooting time before you put out a massive spread if there aren't decoys out already. Most people tend to not put out a ton of decoys when hopping though. Mainly bc it sucks if the cardholder and 5 friends show up 5 mins before shooting time bc their boat wouldn't start. If you're alone a lot of guys will just invite you to stay if they aren't crowded. After shooting time it's assumed no ones coming so have at it. On wmas that allow temp blinds be mindful of the distance to permanent blinds and don't set up too close Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Since they are short on manpower one could probably hunt a couple of years before getting caught hunting without a license. I feel like I could go 3-5 years before I got caught. Surely the fine would be less than $498-$830. The Dave Ramsey follower in me would maybe say don't buy a license anymore. Heck I might be able to go 20 years. I have only been checked twice in the last 20 and I wasn't making an effort to avoid green pants. Actually walked right up to them after seeing them from a distance. 6. I finally opened mine for Christmas. I like them. Heck I may wear them around the house. They block out my kids hollerin' and I can't turn them up to actually hear the tv. I think my wife's right, I need hearing aids. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Been wearing contacts for since I was 13 so almost 25 years. They suck but have been pretty good for me. The ones nowadays are pretty comfortable. I wear monthly and can usually go 2 mo or so. I never could figure why insurance won't pick up the surgery. But I guess they screw ya on hearing aids too. Anyway I hate wearing glasses. They bug the hell out of me. 11. Big Red soda is ok too as long as you only eat the ice. I was kinda thinking of the whole deal. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Prayers for you. Don't eat pizza that stuff will jack your sugar up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. My dad had a 99??? 1/2 T silverado that he upgraded some. He had it set up perfect. I wish I could ask him what he did. Of course I wish I could ask him lots of things. Still he traded it for a 1T bc he bought a bigger camper though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I'm cool with the derail 'cause it just affirms I'm not the only "crazy" person on tgo. I don't believe new town happened and I don't believe a gd thing the govt or media says so it makes sense. Ain't no way to shoot that many people in different rooms in a big ol building and not have one single wounded person that didnt die, even if they only survived for a couple hours, period. Yeah and with a .223. I am not a believer. All kids too, who would be the best candidates for making up a story because even if they were real would have virtually no contact with the rest of the world to discredit the story. Don't think it's possible? Yeah it's "probably" not. I'll split the gas with ya Greg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Order online use promo code PROAPP50 and save $10 on $50 purchase Add some washers or something to get over $50. I think I'm gonna order me some. Can't stand it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Don't bother me they're terrible. It actually makes Sunday peaceful bc I either hunt or do whatever with not even a thought about missing the game. It's reminiscent of Sunday afternoons in 1997 and before, and quite pleasant. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. What ticked me off is when they act like Craftsman stuff is still American made and live on their history and keep the same prices while selling the same chicom crap you can get at harbor freight. The way around breaking a tool and having it replaced with chinaman tool is to just buy vintage craftsman at estate sales if you like em. Then you just scrap whatever you break. Personally I hate their raised panel wrenches and I think their ratchets are horrible but I buy the stuff cause I'm like a tool hoarder esp when it comes to estate sales. There are better American made tools for a non-professional mechanic anyway, without ever buying off a truck. Wilde, Wright, Mayhew, Williams, Estwing, are all examples. Or buy some German. Once you try Wera screwdrivers, craftsman (although actually one of the few things still usa) really suck balls. And with modern-day shipping and communications it's about more convenient to warranty swap something over the phone or internet then pick it up in your mailbox 3 days later. Sure beats going to a mall, to me anyway. If American made isn't a top priority then I gotta say kobalt, and gearwrench beat the piss outta craftsman mechanics tools. Mainly cause they're a lot made in Taiwan and Taiwan tools is far superior to China tools. But yeah Sears should just die already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Glad some of y'all are able to make use of this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. C'mon man taking something in a trash can by the curb isn't stealing. I'm a dumpster diving sum beach. If i saw an old mop I'd likely take it and maybe even go to smashing it to get the funky mop head off and keep the handle. But I ain't no thief. You just profilin' haha Looks like a thief in training tried to jimmy your door though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Ha it'd just snowball from there. I'd spend the $17. Have to get some kind of sights. Decide I want something else. Decide again I want something else. Want to try a different hand guard. different powders, different bullets, have to buy a mold, decide it didn't like my powder coat paint color. It'd just go on and on. At least I'm realistic. And I've dwindled down my most of my PayPal money laundering account funds that my wife don't care about. And technically it's only the $3, cause I could pull the handle off another rifle. 21. Maybe it'll get me to finish my upper. Not much worse than part of a gun laying around. I need 1 crush washer and a charging handle haha. Isn't that ridiculous? Ain't needed to order anything lately and always forget about. Hunting season I don't shoot much anyway and I ain't gonna worry about hunting with it this season so it got back-burnered bad. Gonna put it on my New Years resolutions. We may go down to FL and hunt in Jan/Feb so maybe I'll get to it prior to that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I saw these Peltors at Home Depot in their seasonal stuff for $80 the other day and knew they'd drop in price. That stuff always does. I stocked up on coast flashlights and utility knives out of the seasonal clearance stuff in past years. Anyway I saw them posted on Slickdeals today that they've gone down to $49. They're $74 on amazon with 4.7 stars out of 78 reviews with no 1 or 2 star reviews. So they may be decent. I'd pick up some myself for my wife and I but I suppose we ain't been good and I had some work/pay concerns develop in the past few weeks, so Santa is only coming for the kids this year. However I thought I'd share with my TGO bros and maybe someone would like some at what appears a decent price for a relatively well reviewed set off muffs. So check local HD or better yet buy online and pick up at your local store if it shows in stock online. Hate that I can't get these I've been wanting some electronics. Meh, my plain muffs still keep me hearing just fine. But who don't like at least the appearanceoif fancy stuff? Lol http://m.homedepot.com/p/Peltor-Tactical-100-Electronic-Hearing-Protector-TAC100-OTH/205139061?cm_mmc=CJ-_-1225267-_-10368321&N=5yc1vZc1xyZ25egxh&AID=10368321&PID=1225267&SID=f7dd3f1b6c644e8498a4d88a7bb705b8&cj=true Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I watched it last night. A guy a work said I look like yukon Cornelius last year so my wife made me pose for a pic so she could post it on Facebook for people to make fun of me and my red beard. Gonna start Mexican carrying a vaquero next week Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
