  1. I was up for buying a new bow 2 years ago. I decided to buy a crossbow just for something different. I figured I could keep shooting my old bow too. I will say the thing is damn fun to shoot. So much so that I only shoot it. Screw a bow.
  2. I have have a "broken" Raven .25 I bought for $30 several years ago. "Broken" in that I never had a problem with it jamming. I only bought it cause it was a gun for $30. And quoting an old friend "I'd pay $30 to watch a monkey "do it." Lol
  3. I'll buy them from you. I was planning on going even though dropping $50 hurts.
  4. In that case "none of your f'n business" is pretty universal for getting people to shut up. As with my previous reply I like to curse to emphasize my contempt for their stupid question.
  5. I say: "you ever seen the news motherf##}$r?"
  6. Doesn't seem to be a copycat. Their beliefs seem to be different than the other nut jobs.
  7. Unfortunately they probably won't ever reveal enough information. Unfortunate because we as armed citizens could probably use what occurred as things to consider in situations. Its a damn shame but the media will make sure it's swept under the rug or more likely used as a con to carrying a firearm.

  9. Sold mine in 2013. It sucks ass. I miss my boat. My sorry ass friends don't ever want to go fishing when I do. The idea was sell, pay off a small loan I took for a truck. Save cash for another boat slightly newer boat. Horsecrap! As much as decent bass boats that I'd be comfortable running 30-40 miles in at KY Lake (like my old one) are so damn expensive I'll be too old to fish by the time I'm able to save for one on my measly earnings. I'm about to say piss on Dave Ramesey and finance another boat. That was about the dumbest thing I ever did. Your dog oughta bite you. Lol
  10. I think their plants. Maybe the husbands of the mom group members. I think I will start a social media campaign stating this.
  11. There's a mulberry tree on my job site and me and one of the messicans have picked clean all the branches we could reach. Everyone else acts like they're too good to eat off a tree.
  12. That explains why I never watched it. We could never get channel 2.
  13. I spent 2 weeks running the gun doing a topo survey at the main city bus terminal. You should miss that.
  14. Which extractor is that? For some reason it won't open for me. Seems like I always have problems opening links to lowes
  15. That was Burrs and it was his 2nd location. Road widening got it. The real Burrs is on Old Railroad Bed aka East Division St. at the corner of Rutland. It really ain't far. And I'm not sure he's open all the time any more. He may just do catering now. Hell he may have quit altogether. I like Mickey Roos in Franklin. I think I'll go there now.
  16. I fish a lot of tournaments. (Well I guess this year I've fished less since I'm temporarily boatless but I've still fished some and will fish several more) I enjoy it. I also like to crappie fish but honestly haven't been since my dad passed away. That was our thing and it ain't the same. Ps: someone buy or trade me something for my Humminbird :)

    Old Car tires

I just grow potatoes in the ground. I planted mine in March. They'll actually be ready pretty soon. I checked one yesterday and it had quarter sized spuds on it. . I don't know of anything really that won't grow here in some form. For me pptatoes and onions go in as early as I can plant them (around Mar 15th) then I dig them and double crop and plant something else in their place. Usually more squash or purple hulls or something. I always forget about stacking tires or wood boxes every year but I always wanted to try just to see.
  18. How much privacy does a 4' fence provide?  :hat:
  19. Don't do like your brother...Get married in TN or at least set the date for when the Braves are playing a home series so I can catch a game while Jen goes to the wedding. Lol Congrats again. Can't wait to meet her.
  20. Reminds me of a story i once heard about a guy a friend knew that got approached by someone with ill intent (don't recall him being armed but can't remember the exact circumstances) while he was pumping gas at his full service station. He pulled the pump out and pointed it at the guy with one hand and pulled a lighter out with the other. The assailant decided to run away.
  21. Did you make a post about it on the Facebook group? Won't make a damn but maybe the offender will read about how big of a douche they are.
  22. There's also far worse spots than armpits.
