  1. What if they had staked it and your neighbor didn't think it was fair then got another surveyor to restake it and what he did was 20' over on you? In a bad situation a simple job could snowball easily. Or the previous boundary was wrong. It happens. Some things just gotta be right when someone puts their name on it. But like a lot of things it goes back to our litigious society I guess Heck we used to do side work at the company I used to work for. The RLS charged us $250 straight off too to just stamp something. That was with all the field work and office work fully done by the same guys he had working every day, so he knew it was right. All he had to do was stamp and sign. $250 flat rate whether we made $50 profit or $1000
  2. Since I'm between projects and temporarily back running the gun, I take offense. Spring and summer are coming and when it gets hot and thick it ain't much of a racket. Everbody thinks every day is 70 degrees and beautiful, open, green pasture. Everyone has to get paid haha
  3. Doubt you'll find an anti-gun surveyor up yonder. Lmao! I've done surveying off and on for nearly 15 years. Should be some iron rods or pipes on the corner. Then again it could be a PK, a Mag nail, a monument, a significant tree, a pile of rocks, an x etched on a rock, a buried axle, a gun barrel, etc. seen all of these things. if you need help figuring out "what" his drawing is noting and what you should be looking for i may be able to help. Before I called anyone, if I had no pin finder, or metal detector, I'd lightly dig around what looks like the ought to be the corner (like a fence corner, tree line etc) and might get lucky and find them and save the money.
  4. I replaced a capacitor on my unit last Spring. I picked the cap up at Eds Supply I think it was $3.
  5. In general I don't like painting only bc it's time consuming and there's so many other things I'd rather do. The painting doesn't actually bother me. That's why I try to save it for days I can't work due to snow or rain days. That said painting ceilings wears me out.
  6. I'm gonna pick up some hollow punches this year. They probably work better than spent cases.
  7. Liberals have mind control over us.
  8. Ha!!! They soooo smart. I may not be able to build a coal fired power plant or my own truck but I can build a grill. Stupid bastreds
  9. Friend of mine took this pic a while back Lol. I'm friends with the astronaut from Mt. Juliet, (Barry Wilmore) that just returned from the ISS last week. He was blessed with seeing auroras constantly. When he got there and saw them he posted on a private friends and family group about several things he had done and seen so far. All he put regarding auroras was: "Auroras- WOW!!!" I talked to my BIL and he said these may be the most amazing things Barry witnessed. He took many pics and videos of them and it's worth joining Instagram and following @iss, and searching #Astrobutch, just to see them. They're incredible. Sent
  10. My favorite snack this time of year is Cadbury mini eggs. I can knock out a big bag quick like. I justify it by saying they're seasonal.
  11. I'd bet it was a white person that shot them. And 125 yds away with a handgun, my balls. Now what if it was a black man with a legally purchased and owned AR? Targeting "racist, heavy-handed, dirty cops", seeking justice. Would the guy that lives in the White House come out and say there should be a ban? That'd be a conundrum, eh
  12. He gots beady eyes. Grandma says ya can't trust people with beady eyes But I see the Dana Carvey too
  13. She looks like she's been under a bus. Dang that's a beat up, worn out looking, old hag
  14. I'm glad you were able to get there. I'm still praying for you too.
  15. I could let it go if it was directed at me. But man if I saw some dude saying that to someone else I guess I'd need the lawyer on retainer as suggested. Obviously he had problems. Maybe senile, maybe mentally ill, maybe drunk. Why aint there a mental illness that makes people nice.
  16. Publishing error haha. Lying sobs Maybe "representatives" will write them another letter.
  17. Well that's pretty jacked up. We should probably act surprised? Everything they do they know how we'll react. They don't care... Pass the Vaseline.
  18. Good resource. https://utextension.tennessee.edu/publications/documents/PB1475.pdf Build an extra good trellis using high tensile wire. Grapes could last a long time and you don't want to have to rebuild your trellis. My Grandaddy and a great uncle grew muscadines it takes a while to establish them and get them producing so stick with it, take care of them, and be patient.
  19. ^That's much nicer than my "art". Very nice.
  20. I made a Christmas tree once For this past Christmas my family drew names and the deal was we had to make the gift lol. Sent
