Thanks guys. She is a special dog. When we got her she was full grown and only weighed 40 pounds. Basically she was just skin and bones. I nursed her back to health over a long time. Since she was so malnourished she is slightly more retarded than your average lab. She just wants to be loved. It is hard because I have been out of work and I want what's best but the surgery isn't cheap. Some websites say to restrict activity for 6 to 8 weeks and slowly rehab it. Some say surgery right away is the way to go. Not sure. I have a friend in LA that is a vet I have e-mailed her for her opinion. You know they really aren't just pets they are family. Dogs are truly one of God's better creations. Sorry I am rambling feel emotionally and mentally fried at the moment. The funny thing is my other dog has been taking care of Hunney today. She is a pit/lab or pit/german shepard mix. She has been laying next to Hunney and guarding her today. Thanks again guys

Please keep Hunney, our yellow lab, in your prayers she has a torn knee ligament. The vet said it may heal with rest. If not she will need surgery. I don't know how we will afford the surgery if it comes to that. She is a rescue dog and is so sweet and gentle natured that is painful to watch her hop and limp around.

The cost of magazines is high now back in the 90's when I built my FN FAL mutt I was able to get metric mags as low as $5 a piece for god surplus mags. I stocked up then. Mine is accurate enough to hit a man sized steel plate at 700 meters all day long with the iron sights. It may not be a MOA rifle but it is a minute of man rifle so it would do the trick If I needed it to.

Joke time: Three strangers awaiting their flights strike up a conversation in the airport passenger lounge in Bozeman, Montana. One is an American Indian passing through from Lame Deer. Another is a Cowboy on his way to Billings for a livestock show. And the third is a fundamentalist Arab student, newly arrived at Montana State University from the Middle East who is headed to a training conference in Detroit. Their discussion drifts to their diverse cultures. Soon, the two Westerners learn that the Arab is a devout, radical Muslim who supports Osama Bin Laden's Jihad, so the conversation falls into an uneasy lull. The cowboy leans back in his chair, crosses his boots on a magazine table and tips his big sweat-stained hat forward over his face. The wind outside is blowing tumbleweeds around, and the old windsock is flapping; but still . . . no plane comes. Finally, ! the American Indian clears his throat and softly, he speaks, "At one time here, my people were many, but sadly, now we are few." The Muslim student raises an eyebrow and leans forward, "Once my people were few," he sneers, "and now we are many. Why do you suppose that is?" The Montana cowboy shifts his toothpick to one side of his mouth and from the darkness beneath his Stetson says in a drawl, "That's 'cause we ain't played Cowboys and Muslims yet, . . . but I do believe it's a-comin'."

Damn straight. I have read the quran won't call it holy. Any freedom you love in America is opposed by their religious beliefs. I know why they are so pissy. They can't eat pork, can't have a beer or a stiff drink, their woman have to wear a bag that covers them all over, and lets face it the idea of suiciding to get a virgin is a little over the line.

I read the Declaration of Independence to my wife today. She had never heard it read. There is power in hearing the words you don't get from just seeing them. it will be a new tradition for our family from here on out. Even if he turns himself in I doubt he would survive to go to trial. I would expect him to "hang" himself in his cell, or to be shived in the shower. He is a threat and the government can't allow him to go on trial in an open court

Yes they are worthwhile, but remember what the NRA focuses on. For the most part it is target shooting and hunting. When I took those classes there was little to no focus on defensive use of the pistol or rifle. On the plus side the classes will help you analyze what your or someone you are watching shoot is doing and how to improve.
