  1. They are nice guns, but the trigger assemblies are pretty complicated. Be careful taking it apart as parts tend to fly.
  2. I actually like the look of the gun for its uniqueness. It just looks tough. You would be shocked how soft 357s are through it.
  3. That is awesome. I love hearing good news. Congrats!!!

    Which Ruger?

I'll post the grip pics tomorrow. I wanted the 5.5" barrel. I like the proportions better.
  5. I almost went with the white rhino. I was concerned about the finish as I will carry mine some. How do you think it would hold up? If it was stainless, then it would be a no brainer.
  6. I caught the Match on sale. Paid less than $100 more than a basic RIA. I was considering another one, but the price had went back up.

    Which Ruger?

Thank you. Hopefully I get to shoot it this weekend. It is smaller than I expected which was a nice surprise. As I said, I was torn between the stainless and blued. This one came in first and I'm extremely happy.
  8. I wish I had a Colt Defender to carry. I have a Colt Officer, but it is heavy.
  9. I really like the grip. The rubber one is supplied with the short barrel one. I want to order a wood one soon and try it. The grip doesn't really take much getting used to. It fills the hand well. I have read people complain about the trigger, but mine is pretty nice. It isn't as smooth as a LCR but better better than a j frame. The single action is very crisp.
  10. Finally picked up a Chiappa Rhino. I went with the 2 inch cause I really wanted to experience the reduced recoil. All I can say is wow. It is amazing.
  11. It hurts the gun cause I would carry it at work if I felt better about it. That would lead to more Witness sales. I may ask a gunsmith what he can do about it. I tried finding info on the net with no luck.
  12. What two guns are from the same factory? ATI and RIA? Cause they are owned by two different companies and are not the same factory.
  13. I have shot both and really enjoyed both. They both point very well. I just wish the safety was a little more firm flipping on and off. They are both extremely fun as well. I haven't picked a favorite yet.
  14. Best of both worlds! My only complaint so far is that the safety doesn't click very solidly on or off on the witness.

    Which Ruger?

Funny, first one I ever bought was a 45acp/45 colt convertible. Now for my big reveal.
  16. I think that ad only listed one mag as well. Not a good deal.
  17. Do you remember the price difference as well? I'm betting H & K didn't pass on the savings. They probably called it space age polymer and increased the cost.
  18. Perhaps hate is a strong word as I'm typically a fan of his posts. However, what would you call it when someone posts that the purchase is a snore on the same thread when the OP wanted to share his joy of it? I wouldn't call it love.
  19. That's odd coming from you. Didn't you brag about a PPQ, a gun that came out 25 years later than a Glock? Haters gonna hate.
  20. Saying music, movies, video games, etc causes such things, makes you sound like a liberal cause that is the same thing they say with no facts.
  21. They make 6 or 7 rounders in the officer frame. They are the same size.
  22. He may also be the one that stands up and tells the truth. It would be the best for everyone if the truth comes out quickly.
  23. You sound like a liberal with that comment. They also claim guns in movies and games cause violence. Fortunately, study after study shows that is not the case. Popular culture is a reflection of society, it doesn't drive it.
