I'm looking at either the medium frame flattop blackhawk or the small frame Vaquero. It will be at least 5.5" and 357 magnum. I'm also torn between the blued or stainless. I like having real sights, but the Vaquero just looks cool. Any thoughts? The flattop is being offered as a convertible with 9mm right now. They are about the same price.

Maybe he deleted it. Not to hide it, but to keep someone from thinking good thoughts them. Most YouTube reviews aren't really reviews either. They typically tell you in 10 minutes what you could have read in a minute. Not to mention all the awkwardness. Hickok45 is laid back and pleasant to the ears.

That's very true. He'll point out some con's, but that seems to be about it. He seems so happy just shooting and talking that he makes me happier.

It seems really odd to add a decocker. It is one more thing that can be mess up the action, and it really doesn't serve a purpose. If someone thinks that will keep kids safe messing with a loaded gun, then that is just sad. For a range gun, the decocker doesn't bother me. For a self defense gun, I would look elsewhere. If they came out with one without it, then I would consider it if it gets a positive long term reviews. Right now it is just a flash in the pan.

I don't think the Glock 17/22 conversion is out yet. Everything says mid '15. It does sound pretty sweet though.

Just got to shoot a Glock 43. The trigger is a little heavier than a standard Glock, but you don't notice actually shooting it. It was pretty sweet. Can't wait to get my own at a reasonable price.

Almost. You will still get increased velocity after all the powder is burnt. As long as the pressure behind the bullet is able to overcome the force of friction, then you still can get increased velocity. I'm betting it is probably only a couple of inches at most.

    I guess that is my point.  You assume you have enough to pay for a funeral pyre.  That would also leave the medical bills to be paid for all the heroic effort they used to try to save you.  I understand the freedom side of it, but it does sound like it could increase the burden on taxpayers.  No numbers have been cited here, and I don't care that much to look them up.  Besides, the EPA would fine your funeral pyre so much, there is no way you would have enough stashed away for that.

Would you also sign a waiver that the government or any other person or business would receive full reimbursement from your injuries? I think that's the rub. It is going to cost someone somewhere down the line. Maybe not for you specifically, but most bikers are not independent wealthy.

The recoil from shooting a LCP is way harsher than shooting a G42. Not even close.
