Stories like this have been around for a long time. I think the cops' words were almost universally trusted generations ago. Thanks to modern technology, however, we are starting to see the other side of it. Cops are also like a fraternity with an us vs them. I believe they will help to cover up for each other. That can be good, but it is mostly bad. We have several prior or current police officers on here. How many of you will discuss the unofficial policy of " if you run, then you will get beat" to other people? Even today that still gets covered up. I've known officers that left the force because of that. I wish they had stayed and tried to fix it instead, but I can understand their thought process.

Glock 19s rock, but they aren't in the same class size at all. Tad smaller? I guess that is a relative term. It is significantly smaller when it comes to pocket or iwb.

Just picked up mine today. If I can find a trigger gauge, then I'll post it. Update: it wasn't hard to find apparently. If I measure it from the bottom of the trigger, then it measures 5-9/16 lb. From closer to the top, it hit almost 7-1/2. I haven't gotten to fire it yet, but the previous one I shot was extremely enjoyable.

I'm betting it was the mag too. I bet the gun comes back a little nicer anyway. They'll at least polish the barrel. I think you did the right thing. A bet if more people sent them back, then they might deem it cost effective to use a better mag.

Looks like the convertible's grip frame is steel as well. Ruger seems to be pretty random about what they put it on.

You should have drop kicked him. Some.of the expanded universe wasn't that great, but tossing our Zahn's trilogy is ridiculous. That was amazing. Best written Star Wars material period. I've never used a forward assist so I'm not so sure that is a selling point. The MSRP is funny though.

Most reports have left handed dominance representing about 15%. From personal experience in a gun store, my opinion that gun ownership is one of those categories that left handed new makes up a larger percentage. I definitely see a higher percentage but it just be me.

So. After reading all of the posts, it seems no general consensus is to be found. I'll take that to mean I'll be happy no matter what I get. The vaquero does look sharper though.

It is cool of them to be proactive, but maybe they've should have tested some? Seems strange from a company with such a good reputation in reliability.

It will be mostly a fun range toy. And to have something else pretty to look at. I've never shot cowboy action.

So the blued one is part of the frame? Or just crazy hard to replace?
