The Buckmark is better out of the box. That is comparing it to a mkIII. A 22/45 is a step down. If you find one with a metal frame, then it would be better. We have 22/45s as rentals and they don't hold up as well either. The pins have been known to walk out too.

I intentionally ordered my EAA from Davidson's due to their warranty. They cost a little more, but it was worth it in that case. EAA has horrible customer service/ warranty work.

The article you linked says 4-1/2 hours. The signal is slower than speed of light as well. Maybe they'll find another "face" on Pluto.

But the finish isn't nor is it of the original style. I don't think nickel ages as gracefully as bluing does.

I'm not sure of its value right now, but I don't have a whole lot in it. If I could get it blued for a reasonable price, then I would find it money well soent.

I'll post pics when I get back home. I cleaned it up and left it in pieces. There was some minor rust on the inside and there is a hazy spot on the nickel on the slide.

Only if I have to do that. I feel this gun deserves to be blued. The nickel sure did protect the gun though.

In TN, the state has 15 days to respond. If a department doesn't respond, then it goes on as a conditional proceed. I suppose SC's must be three days.

941F is the full size. 941FS is the smaller of the two.

I just acquired a 1911 made in 1918. However, it had received a nickel treatment over 50 years ago. I want to have it blued. I'm thinking a shiny, bright blue. I'm looking for thoughts on it and recommendations for where to get it done. Thank you in advance. Adam
