  1. Hydrogen is definitely a fuel, not a battery. The issue is making hydrogen. It actually isn't that expensive to make; there just isn't a big market for it right now. It will become worthwhile when cars and the our infrastructure make the switch.

    CZ P-07

Anyone know where I can hold one in Chattanooga? I'm pretty interested.
  3. Fuel cells come in all sizes. They use a fuel cell to power the space shuttles. Those are 12kW I think. The cool thing would be to generate your own hydrogen at home and be truly grid free.
  4. Fuel cells are awesome. It is only putting 2w out. That isn't enough. And I didn't see how much fuel it takes. Fuel cells are in our future, but the infrastructure isn't there yet.
  5. I have never heard of that before. When did they start doing that? And why those three?
  6. You got your confirmation number online before you took your class. It should be on your certificate you received.
  7. I have the commander. I really like it.
  8. The single action ones break nicely, but they have a lot of take up. I really tried to like it.
  9. Some are but most aren't. There is even a website that says which p30 holsters work.
  10. Have you tried the paint that link recommends for gun sights? How does it compare?
  11. Does that mean you guys remove the external safety like he designed? Neener
  12. I held one of these today. It felt amazing. I can't believe how light it was. I believe a 357 version is in my future when they hit. Won't win a beauty contest, but it would feel awesome to carry it. It was the 3 inch LCRX.
  13. Will it say Tennessee on it? Cause I would actually buy a Beretta then.
  14. I may give Colt a call and see what they say. Apparently no one is able to get the frame to match the slide like Colt did. I did order a c3 to satisfy my need for now. Figured an officer frame and a commander slide would satiate me.

    H&K VP9

I own a VP9, but I finally got to hold a PPQ today. The ppq is longer and perhaps a little lighter when releasing the striker. Tough call. The vp9 felt better in my hand. I didn't get to shoot the ppq though.
  16. I've held one. I liked it. My hands aren't huge, so I didn't notice much of difference, if at all. An officer feels pretty much the same to me.
  17. I have a late 70s commander that I got from another member on here. I really like the bluing on these guns as it is my second one. The frame isn't in the best shape. The slide has some character, but isn't to bad. What it be an affront to get it bobtailed and reanodized to match the finish? Anyone had it done? Any recommendations? I looked at buying one like this but the prices are crazy. I'm open to suggestions.
  18. I have a 4" 686 out for a trigger job as we speak. Can't wait.
  19. I'll put that on my short list. Let me know if they need a babysitter one day.
  20. Why a 3 inch? It looked like a lot of mbers were repulsed by a 3 inch LCR. I would dig a new 66 in 3 inch if they would kill the lock.
  21. I would prefer 4 inch, but I don't have a 6 inch. Guess I need a snubby too.
  22. I have a 4 inch 66 that I really enjoy. Thanks for your feedback.
