To me, this whole thing started downhill the moment the gov. got involved. Imagine that! The one thing the VA did right. Fill out a simple form, get the injection, leave. No muss, no fuss.

This whole vaccination thing is strange to me. I have never been one that was afraid of needles or vaccines. Usually, when a needle was stuck in me, there wasn't really much choice. Get the shot, get better, or not do so & suffer the consequences. Reminds me of my Army days, where in basic training, we were told to line up & go thru the gauntlet of medics on each side with the spray paint gun type injection apparatus. Roll up your shirt sleeve & get hit on both sides at the same time. No option. Never saw anyone raise their hand to opt out. Again, when we were preparing to leave for Vietnam, more of the same. No choices. Then there were the Malaria pills. I have no idea what was in these vaccines, never gave it a thought. Thing was, I never contracted any of the numerous diseases to be had. I also used the dreaded iodine tablets in my canteen. Tasted like crap, but you lived with it. I've never suffered any ill effects from any of it.

Xsubsailor, that looks like a good deal. Next time mine bites the dust, I'll check it out.

As Hozzie said, wall thickness is key. I bought one from Lowes, 20'. had to replace it several times. Will not stand winds more than 30 mph +-. The 3X5 flag catches too much wind, snaps it right off.Haven't checked the wall thickness on this one, but it's thinner than reg. electrical conduit. I appreciate all flying our flag. Thanks.

Time to dust off my old tin foil hat, and get my black helicopter out of the barn.

My eyes don't like open sights either. I put a 2x7 scope on mine. Works for me.

Chuck’s night vision escapades (Formerly a question for the police.)
Grunt67 replied to Chucktshoes's topic in General Chat
My only experience with nite vision was with the Starlite scope in 'Nam. I'm sure the tech. has come a long way since then. -
Cant go wrong with a Henry. I've got one in 45/70, love it, reloading for it too. Henrys' warranty & service are top notch. Enjoy.

I had some on BO since May. Forgot about it, didn't know what it was when FEDEX showed up, lol. Patience is key these days. -
I never watch CNN for any reason. My blood is already at the boiling point.

FEDEX left me a surprise today. I had 200 pcs, Starline 45/70 brass on BO with Creedmoor Sports, back in May. Totally forgotten about it, showed up on my front porch today. I've got enough now to last me thru age 146. Not likely my shoulder will hold up that long, LOL.

Sounds more like a divorce settlement.

You were partly right, LOL.

Shooting about 20 will do that. Still hopeing for a bison to show up, LOL.

You've got me beat so far. Mine says 4.05" & counting. Just went to Lebanon, creek over 231 a bit muddy, but not out of the banks. The creek going thru town has nothing.

Just now lucked up on bullets. Found 200, Hornady 300 gr JHP bullets on GunStop Reloading's site. That's enough to fill the 200 Starline pcs. of brass I already have. Happy camper!

Currently I have 3.51 in my gauge. Rained really hard at times. Haven't seen any flooding around my area. I got my yard mowed just before it started yesterday. Put the mower up, started to the house, heard thunder. Things went downhill frm there.
