  1. Usually it is the bullet that is lubed, not inside the brass. How much bell are you putting on the case mouth and how deep is it? Before I started I visited a friend who showed me a few things. I will extend the same offer to you, if you'd care to.
  2. Last time I was in Reloaders Bench in Mount Juliet they had quite a few boxes of 115grn.
  3. In my case it has absolutely nothing to do with liking or disliking you (I, for one, don't even know you)! Its about each person's level of comfort and just how much chance you care to take.I am only speaking for myself. I am glad it works for you! As the Aussie's say "Good on ya mate"!
  4. Something I forgot to say: I was using my Uniflow at about 6 grains (and don't know if the amount matters to the results. Also after reading what Dolomite_supafly said my Uniflow does not have any sort of baffle in it. I am now using a Hornady on my progressive press and it does have a baffle plate. It makes good sense to have one (the Hornady, which is very similar, has one).
  5. I can tell you that by getting into my car, I rubbed the safety of my Colt Commander against the seat, twice and clicked it off. I was caring it in a very cheap Uncle Mikes holster. My trigger is nothing like glass breaking so I wasn't terribly worried but it was enough to make me rethink what I was caring and what I was caring it in. I have now switched to an M&P (with no thumb safety) and a Crossbred Super Tuck (hard kydex, completely covering the trigger).   You can theorize all day long about what may or could happen - I however, do not care to play what if's. I do NOT want a close call!!!
  6. I had a very difficult time getting my Uniflow setup using Unique powder. Once I finally got it sat I experienced the same type of results you did. It is necessary to have a consistent throw. When I switched to Titegroup powder it was much (MUCH) easier to for the initial setup but doesn't change the consistency required.
  7. Its a very good site... but maybe I am biased. Welcome!
  8. Excellent find! I have no clue if its worth anything or not but I would hang it in my living room! Color me envious!
  9. I got a tube of white lithium that Wilson Combat sold, from Midway USA. Best part is that it comes in a precision syringe applicator.
  10. My 45 full size and my 9L both have the large on them.
  11. Haul your dud's over here to my house (in La Vergne) and I will be happy to let you use my hammer. Incidentally, I bought an RCBS brand kinetic bullet puller and it broke not long ago and RCBS replaced it (it was 2 or 3 years old)!
  12. Lots of different people have lot of different idea's. You have some excellent ideas above, pick each gun up and see if one of them talks to you.
  13. Hell, thanks for building a great site too!
  14. I did the same thing with my kids.
  15. Congrats! I have seen 2 in the last week - each for around $350. I would enjoy to shoot one, myself!
  16. Dang man! i was in your neck of the woods yesterday (well, actually Dover and LBL)... aw well, guess I will have to use my own LnL. lol   Really, that's awesome of you!
  17. Don't see your email address (and I am a TGO friend).
