  1. Walmart in Brainerd has ammo if you are looking for something other than .22lr or .223
  2. Mine would look better, kinda like the one Rambo forged out himself in the last movie
  3. While a machete would be useful for chopping wood, weeds etc. a far better choice for whacking zombies quitely would be an aluminum baseball bat
  4. I had not seen $1 coins in years until I went to work at Amazon.Thats all the change machines in the break rooms spit out.You put in a $1 bill you get a $1 coin back,$5 bill/5 $ coins back
  5. Been meaning to post this for a while so here goes.I like to fish in areas "off the beaten path".I carry a machete to clear the way and a hatchet to cut firewood to prepare my catch.I would like to have a knife to do both tasks. My ideal tool for this would be made of a single piece of 1/4 inch thick carbon steel. It would have an overall length of 18 inches with the blade portion being 12 inches. The blade would be 2 inches wide and the grip portion 1.5 inches with a round butt the same width as the blade..The spine of the blade would have a slight upsweep and the tip would be flat with a slight angle from the edge back to the spine. The edge would be convex. The grip could be wrapped in leather, grip tape or even later perhaps a set of scales.Thats it,my idea of the type of knife I'd like to have

    Stolen pistol

I hate a theif, hope you had a spare pair of glasses.
  7. Not looking to buy a gun but browsing a local pawn shop Sat.I spied a stainless Ruger MKII .22 pistol. It was the standard model with the 4in bbl.I had one years ago it was the best .22 pistol I ever owned but in a moment of financial need I sold it.Needless to say I put it in layaway.
  8. I you like your BH Serpa they make a version without the lock.
  9. Prices on "preban" ARs were sky high, but they weren't selling.I saw the same dealers at gun shows with the same ARs,month after month, year after year
  10. Check out the Cold Steel Voyagers,a lot of knife for the money. It features the trad lock which is very strong and CS has a very good heat treat on their AUS8 steel,a lot better than other makers, you can find them for around $50 online
  11. whatever the point is the rifiling in the .45 Glocks don't "lead" like the other calibers supposedly do
  12. Me too (and several others I know) but you know how these "internet experts" are
  13. think it will be a .45 ACP,I remember a preview that showed Daryl pointing a 1911 at someone and saying "sorry brother"

    Left Hand AR Options?

Not trying to be a smartass or anything but what purpose does a left hand AR serve? I shoot long guns left hand and have never had an issue with either the M16 I had in the Army or my ARs.All A2s have a brass deflector,I could see where somebody would want an ambi selector switch but I've never had a problem with that either.
  15. Props to the FBI and Springfield for not putting forward cocking serrations on the slide,I'm so damn tired of seeing those

    Drill Rifle ?

you could buy a cheap rug for him to stand on
  17. It was an ok show, been to far worse.I picked up 4 nice older carbon steel kitchen knives for $20 they sharpend up real nice.Looking forward to the Camp Jorden show
  18. There have not been any shows at the Convention Center in several years and the last few they had were really bad.The shows that Bean used to promote there back in the 80s-90s were really good but that was along time ago. That being said I think I'm going to head out on this rainy morning to check out the show today
  19. or maybe it was a bit of humor mixed in
  20. Why replace the barrel on a 45 ACP Glock? If you plan to shoot lead shoot away the .45s don't have the polygonal rifling,
  21. Glock 21,go big or go home.A close second would be the 30,the perfect carry gun
