That was the law that passed in 86, you could buy a long gun from a dealer in a neighboring state. Attached to that law was the ban on sales of full auto weapons made after 86. The NRA comprised allowing that in exchange for the bill passing. Later the law was expanded to include any state provided the long gun was legal to own in the buyer's state. Traffic coming into Chattanooga from the west has gotten so bad that now I come back from Murfreesboro through McMinnville and Dunlap. I noticed on Hwy 8/ Harrison Ferry RD after you leave McMinnville is a place called Mountain Top Range. They have a webpage but it's a little vague. Nice build.I'm down to 2 870s now one is similar to yours and the other is an 80's 870 Magnum (pre-Police Magnum) with the wood stock and forend.I love building 870s but I stick with the Wingmasters or older Express models.

Is a 45-60 min drive that bad?,lots of us drive that long to the range.. I live in East Ridge and drive to Cleveland,takes me about 45 mins depending on which way I go and the traffic.I don't mind it,gives me time to drive the countryside and clear my head.
