  4. The Norinco is a true copy of a 1911A1.Stars were similar in design but were far less reliable .While hard to wrap your brain around a commie 1911 remember Norinco also made a M14/ M1A copy

Had the same thing happen 23 yrs ago.I was told the charge would be dropped after 6 months , 9 months later went to buy a gun and was denied.I had to make several trips to the court clerks office who sent the request for expungement to the judge .Finally got it cleared up.Damned thing about that was what I was charged with(loaded gun in truck) is legal now.
  8. They started using the plastic guard on the Police and Express models a few yrs ago.Do check your area pawn shops I found 2 in the last couple yrs for less than $250 and they were older models without the MIM and plastic parts

  11. you are correct his role was played by an actor but he had a small speaking role , it's been years since I saw the movie . He was the DA for many yrs in Hamilton Co.

    My First 1911

    Nice gun,if you like the idea of a FLGR you could swap the one in it for a 1 piece rod you would need a bushing wrench but would be much easier to take down
  17. Strike King Bitsy Minnow on Chickamauga Lake has worked well,I use it for pan fish but the bass have been tearing it up

    Remington Mosin

    I bought one back in the 80s that had the barrel cut down to 18 in.Norma was the only source of ammo ( this was before I got into reloading) at $30 a box for 20 rds.I sold it several years later for what I had in it $75.It wasn't months later when the imported ammo started flooding into the US,just my luck
  20. My thoughts on manual safeties, I don't use them.Glocks,DA revolvers , Keltecs are what I carry the most
