  1. I know what you mean. I’m not either. But according to the organization rep I was talking to they would help if this kind of disaster happened. Hopefully no one here has to go through it.
  2. If they’re blocking you to keep you in harms way, aren’t they aiding the attackers in their assault against you?
  3. My bad. I’m having to use my phone and having vision problems. that wasn’t the video I meant to post. The one I meant to post was in NYC where protesters were up on the hoods of cars, beating the windshield out of vehicles and beating, kicking occupants In the head.
  4. Thanks Dave. This was the meat of my conversation with the representative. You get caught in a situation that you can’t avoid and rioters are blocking vehicles, beating the glass out and dragging innocent people out of their vehicles To beat and kick them causing bodily harm. There are countless videos of this all over the internet. For instance
  5. Not so long ago, due to current events in many cities, I joined an organization that will defend you if you are involved with in an action of self defense against someone attempting bodily harm or death of you or a loved one. I recently had a chance to ask some questions about being attacked by a violent group or groups of folks that are stopping folks in their vehicles and attacking them and dragging them out of their vehicle with the intent to beat and possible murder the occupant or occupants. This conversation was after I was told they would defend you no matter what means or weapon you legally used in the altercation. I was told that in that type of scenario if you injured or killed the attackers while using your vehicle to stop or to escape the attack they would considered It an act of lawful self defense and it would be covered by their services. It got me to thinking and I know there’s no way I would just sit there and let that happen to me or my wife. Do any of you have any thoughts on this as far as your vehicle being a legal self defense weapon in this scenario?
  6. I believe it’s going to be bad no matter who wins. The freedom of our nation will be at stake. The enemy will be the liberals and their Democrat leaders. If they lose, they’ll do what they are doing now just in a much broader, intense and radical way. If they win we’ll see a slight lull until they try to disarm us, which you can bet your butt will happen. Then we’ll see major resistance from paramilitary groups like we saw at the Bundy ranch in Nevada, and many more will join the fight. A real Civil War 2.
  7. Fourth turning info https://www.lifecourse.com/about/method/the-four-turnings.html
  8. I’ve been looking for a couple of guns lately and it’s the same all over it seems.
  9. I just finished a roof over my back deck. Almost all of the lumber came from a man that lives a few miles from my home and has a sawmill. Rough cut and to real dimensions. His 2x4’s 6’s etc measure 2”x 4” and 6”. They were almost half the price of the crap they sell at Lowes. Country living does have advantages.
  10. Let’s see. I’ve got a sweet Henry lever 22, a couple of CZ’s that are amazingly accurate, a Remington I bought when I was 18 or so. A buckmark pistol that’s really a fun gun to shoot with a red dot sight.
  11. I know what you mean about the boat sinking. I can’t even remember what lake I was on anymore!!
  12. Here is another place for targets. About halfway down, they have some good targets for benchrest practice for that nail driving 22 rifle you have. https://www.accurateshooter.com/shooting-skills/targets/
  13. Don’t forget firearm and ammo purchases. 2020 has got to be some kind of record. There’s some out there, but it’s about as bad as it was during some of the BHO years. June set a record all by itself.
  14. So true Mac. He wasn’t a member here however. 23 years old. 2 tours to Middle East. September 2016.
  15. And you keep opening posts about it to read them? LOL.
  16. Could be. I thought it wasn’t normal. Didn’t happen last year as I remember.
  17. I’ve got some of those Mac. I like them too. They work good on the hiwassee . Thanks.
  18. I’ve really missed the trout fishing this year. The streams I fish have really been impacted with high water a lot of the Spring with so much rain and high water. I’m honking of trying the area below Tim’s Ford Dam. I’m not very knowledgeable about this area. I use a open face spinner rig and chest waders. Any tips or dangers I need to know about? Thanks to anyone that responds.
  19. I’ve moved up on a beautiful mountain and have an acre and a half of yard trees about half acorn and half hickory trees. I’m not sure what caused this, but all the hickory trees began dropping marble sized, not even half grown nuts back in June. Not just a few, but a good bunch of the crop It seemed. Other than that, they look healthy. They stopped for a few weeks now but they’re dropping nuts again, but a bit bigger this time. Maybe the cool or wet spring. I would say poor squirrels, but their so fat they can barely climb up on my bird feeders....
  20. President’s are not doctors, nor pandemic specialist. They follow advice from those who are. Both Fucci and Birx are big democrat donors and I don’t trust any democrats. Especially those two based on their known history. Heaven knows what their unknown history is. My Opinion anyway.
  21. Up until the pandemic, I felt like the conservatives had a good chance of keeping the WH and maybe even both houses. Not....not so sure. I know one thing for sure. I’m worried about the world the young members of my family and friends families are going to grow up in. Visions of Venezuela keep me up at night. That or Somalia when they try to confiscate American’s firearms.
