Magazine Release On GLOCK 32 Giving Me Trouble

On my GLOCK 32 I cannot get my hand into a comfortable position to release the magazine. When I go to release the magazine I feel like I have to release the grip I have on the pistol then turn my hand clockwise. The release button is small and I have to deal with the sharp edge. It is the standard release that came with the GLOCK.

I need the wisdom of those who have dealt with this issue and recommendations on solving the problem.

Thanks for your help!

I have a T.H.E. extended mag release on my 17 and 22. I don't have to change my grip nor have I ever dropped my mag in Kroger like people said I would when I put it on. All it does is the little extension that is held on by 2 allen screws moves it back just enough for my thumb to catch it. I love it.

i put the extended release on my G 23 and G27. i love them. the only time i have ever had the mag come out was when i go to the bathroom i set it on the toilet lid with the mag release on the toilet, and when i set it down it would push the release and let the mag come out later. this only happened 2 times before i found out what was causing it, i now set it down with the mag release pointing up and haven't had any more problems with it.

Extended mag release may help some. Also, an emory board will take off the sharp edges of the release. Last time I bought one, they were $2.49 each, so don't stress over screwing it up.

I have the Vickers Tactical extended release on both my G19 and G23. I really like it. It also has rounded edges. Much more comfortable than the standard release.

+1

The Vickers mag release is one of the very few mods I make to any Glock that I own. It exactly splits the difference between the standard and the extended Glock mag release.

If you don't want to spend the money on the Vickers (about $15), you could get an extended Glock release and file it down to your desired length and end up with the same result.
